sssurfer
Ok, I found myself giving links to those old posts of mine on the 'old' RWG, so I thought I could post them here as well. Apologies for repeating myself, and to anyone not interested. PAM reference spreadsheet: In this version 1.4 I decided to remove all references to dealers. They outdate too quickly. Most models with numbers > 200 are still missing. EDIT: this PAM table is by far obsolete. You may find the latest release in my signature. Here is genuine Italian pronunciation from a genuine Italian member. In the attached mp3 I say: OFFICINE PANERAI RADIOMIR LUMINOR MARINA MILITARE (Apologies for not-so-good quality. I couldn't find my microphone, so I had to record it in my mobile phone and convert it afterwards.) Edit Dec 6th 2007: Files removed due to this thread. My apologies to anyone (especially newbies) who might have needed them.PAM_Table_v1.4.zipPAM_mp3.zip

Chronus
Correct. In words for those that don't have speakers (like me), or those too lazy to download and listen! Officine: Off-ee-chee-neh Off - like switch off ee - like the letter "E" chee - as it is spelled, rhyming with fee neh - similar to militare (see below). Like in the spanish phrase "No Se" (I don't know) ... like the Se without the S and using a N. If you speak Greek it's like saying Yes (Ne) Panerai: Pan-Err-Eye Pan - like pots and pans Err - like "to err" (make an error) Eye - like what you see with Last part is the same pronunciation as the Italian TV channel Rai Uno (obviously without the Uno) or the Brasilian footballer Rai (younger brother of Brasilian great Socrates). Radiomir: Rad-ee-oh-meer Rad - like "that's totally rad" (does anyone actually say that?) ee - like the letter "E" Oh - like the letter "O" Meer - pronounced like the Mir space station or Meer from Ajax's former football stadium Van Meer. Luminor: Loom-in-ore Loom - as in Fruit of the Loom. In - like the word ... like "walk in to the room" Ore - like iron ore. Marina: Mar-ee-nah Mar - like in "marry" ee - like the letter "E" nah - like the british slang for "no" Militare: Mil-ee-tar-eh Mil - like saying "Half a mil" (as in million) ee - like the letter "E" tar - like the substance tar used in roads, or like the words star without the S eh - not as pronounced as the Canadian "Eh", more like in the spanish phrase "No Se" (I don't know) ... like the Se without the S. Hope that helps! And that I didn't get any of them wrong!

Chronus
No problem I may have to make slight alterations after I read over it, but I've been working long hours lately (to cover my habit!)
