  3. I have been unable to find the dimensions of the Omega 1128 - From my understanding the 1128 is based on the 2892 and so is the 2893 Trying to figure out if the two are interchangeable Thanks
  4. Trying to get ahold of him in regards to a purchase I made from him sometime back. So far PM and email attempts have failed to ellict a response from him over the past 3 weeks Maybe I have a bad email.... I would think PM's would be pretty fool proof
  5. which watch (supplier) did you start off with Want to make the same watch but use a 2893 w gen dial, hands, crown
  6. So if I wanted to build a franken Omega 2534.50 (GMT) using as many gen pieces as possible and using an ETA 2893-2 movement which/whose rep would be a good starting point. It is my understanding the 2534.50 uses the Omega 1128 Caliber which is basically the 2893.
  7. The guy I use charges $180 for cleaning and oiling. Turns the watch around in week. So far I have not had to replace anything in my 16800 but that is about to change as the date change spring is getting week so the next time it is in for service I will have him take care of that as well. He works on any swiss watch
  8. tritium is a non issue unless you decided to eat the stuff and even then you would have to eat large quantities of it
  9. I need to purchase the 24 hr - hour wheel for a 2893-2 movement. I have had zero luck in finding one. Anyone have any tips on companies that have them. Here are the two parts I need 31.047.00 Hour wheel 24 hrs 80.295.00 Friction washer thanks
  10. yep that was my purchase - [censored] poor packing but seems to be ok. have not cased it yet though. Original price was $350 and he lowered it to $290 or something like that and I offered $250 via message so he lowered it and I purchased. The week prior I missed one that sold for $152.50 Oh the guy did ship fast. Had it in my hands two days after I paid
  11. I know he is not calling it a fake but he is not saying it is real either and it is priced where it should be.
  12. think this will affect sending a watch back to singapore for repair/mod
  13. Does anyone have a good source of sterile dials other than www.ofrei.com thanks
