So, imagine that poor fella (whoever he is who won the auction) parts with US$12,0000 of his hard earned money thinking he got a good deal. And then a few months or years down the road realizes that he had bought a bad, poorly made fake when he brings it to AP for servicing, or when he gathers more knowledge about AP.....

Ordered the AP Diver at the end of last week from my favourite dealer Connie (aka Miss King). The transaction was as usual silky smooth and easy, and it landed on my desk today. Just 4 business days from order to arrival, excellent! I opted for the Swiss SW200 movement http://www.kingshowbox.com/goods-6345.html The watch feels and wears great. The inner bezel, crown and everything works as it should, the hands sweeps smooth and nice. Overall look and feels good, love the nicely brushed stainless steel look on the watch. I am very happy with the watch and there's nothing I would complaint about. Here are some photos, and a few shots together with the rest of my AP ROOs...

Saw these crazy collection in a second hand shop in Hong Kong and what caught my eye was how close the date window cyclop was to the tachy ring in this gold rubberclad.......it is almost as close as (well, nearly) what we have with our reps! And here's a close up......

I ordered one with the Swiss movement, and Ms King (Connie) had just sent over the QC photos which looks fabulous! Will post some photos when I it arrives.
