  1. No I didn't contact Andrew yet I will definetly do that , however I've read on this forum that it's not advisable to send a watch back to China as there can be lots of complications with customs, etc. ideally I think i'd rather send it to somebody a little closer to home if I can get names of people who can do the work. Thanks for the names and if anybody in Canada capable that would be even better as no customs issues to possibly deal with. Thanks everybody for any and all your help. Nice to know there are people willing to help a person out when they encounter a problem.
  2. Bought a Santos 100 Chrono from Andrew 5 weeks ago and today watch is dead. Very loud "rotor" noise at least I assume that's what it is. Purchased a OEM strap for it so would like to salvage the watch if possible. Any help on where to get it repaired would be appreciated. I'm in Canada so if somebody knows where I might send it that would be great. Thanks.
  3. Excellent work. More of the bicycle please. Ok I concur the girl in pic 2 is hot.
  4. Anybody know of anybody north of the 49th parallel that can perform service on a Skyland Avenger?
  5. Bought one of these a few years ago from Peter at watchstation. Still runs great no problems whatsoever(touch wood). Was my first purchase, first one he sent never made it through Customs but he resent replacement immediately. Don t know if he still operates under that name though. Just purchased first watch from Andrew at TT a Cartier Santis Chrono ulrimate and have to say the service was excellent. Received the watch in my hands within 6 days. Good luck with the purchase.
  6. Duke thanks for the tip on the loctite blue. I'm sure I can get it at any hardware store here in the Great White North. Best regards.
  7. Thanks guys for taking the time to reply. This helps me out. One more thing, where to get the loc tight blue? Thanks again everybody.
  8. Wow I can't believe I just found that stupid little screw on the floor. Still need screwdriver set and reply to silly question about lock tight or suggestions regarding prevention against loosing screws in the future. Thanks all.
  9. Just received a Cartier Santos 100 Chrono on Friday from Andrew. Everything looked great until today when I noticed I'm now missing a bezel screw from the face of the watch. Probably should have tightened them all when I first received the watch. My bad. With that being said, I don't suppose any member would have a "spare" kicking around? Will PM Andrew with the same request. Also looking to purchase screwdriver set to tighten all screws on this watch, of which there are many. Suggestions on where to get screwdeivers to fit these small screws. Should a person use a locktight product on these to prevent future losses? Thanks for any help.
  10. Anyone have any leads on where to buy genuine alligator strap for Cartier Santos 100 Chrono. Not necessarily "Cartier" OEM just gneuine alligator strap to fit this watch. Thanks.
  11. Love the watch. Great looking strap. Thanks for the link because I'd also like to upgrade the strap on the Santos 100 XL Chronograph Ultimate from Andrew that I'm about to purchase and I noticed that Josh has the same one on his website. However, they claim that it is a 1:1 copy. You had mentioned that a 1:1 is not available in the chronograph, am I missing something here?
  12. Now that's tha kind of problems I wish I had. Sorry I'm of no help but just had to say that. Good luck with the sale.
  13. I've had a Sky Avenger for approx 2-3 years now and when I first received it had to give it a good shaking to get it going. Tried the winder , the gentle roll, etc. but the only thing that got it going was a fairly good shaking. When I don't wear it and it stops, it's very tough to get it going again and only comes around after a fairly lengthy shaking. I'm not suggesting that this will work for your watches, but it may be worth a try before sending back to China. Just my 2 cents worth. Hope it all works out for you.
  14. Yes the watch is fantastic and combined with that strap makes it a standout.. I'm also interested in a strap like this for my Skyland Avenger. Any info on sourcing one would be appreciated. Thanks.
