Thanks for the comments guys. I have one MMD and love it. Think I will just spring for the Black Sea as is and upgrade if a rubberized version is done. My problem with upgrading to a newer better version is I then wear the old one more so I keep the new one 'nice!' Same issue with gens---they stay in the drawer and the reps get worn.

Love the look of the UN Black Sea. The new rep has a black PVD surface and not the rubberized surface of the gen. Is it unlikely to be done with a rep and just live with what is now available or wait for an upgraded rubberized rep? Too difficult to copy? Thanks for input.

Before pulling the trigger on a gen bronze Magrette or Olivier does anyone think there is a possibility that the H or N factories might produce a 382 Bronzo rep? That would be sweet. Easy or difficult material to work with? Comments please. Hot for bronze!

I would go with white. Black is fine (using it as a beater) but the white is more classy. Definitely go with the better 2824 version. Every time I wind the cheaper 21J movement I think it sounds to 'tinny' to last long. Enjoy.

I bought one of the cheaper versions a few months back to see if I liked it. Strap was not good and I hate buckles so I popped on a new strap with deployant. Nice-- I liked it. Black face. Based on this I just pulled the trigger on the new version from Josh. This one has a 2824 engine, more accurate face (got a white one this time), and the Cartier style deployant. Much better and really happy with it. If you like the design, go for it. Josh is great.

Does anyone have an Aquanaut jumbo ver 2 with the SS band? Your opinion of the this steel band vs a rubber one on this watch? Look/balance with the watch itself, comfort, clasp function? I have a Nautilus jumbo that is probably the most comfortable rep I have to wear. Low profile and not quite as big (40x9mm) as others. I can hardly tell when it is on. I am debating buying one. Opinions please? tnx
