  1. I agree, I had the 3707 and it's very similar but doesn't have the internal bezel and is a couple of mm smaller. The 3719 is perfect size and appearance and I really love it. It can be bought for a reasonable price for an IWC, my only complaint is the movement isn't an in house one but a modified 7750.
  2. Well, gents. Looks like the bracelet in the auction is the correct size and at ~$240 is quite a steal for a GEN IWC bracelet that retails for $1900. I got lucky on this one but my 3719 is now on a bracelet and really transforms the watch. Everyone who says it looks better on a bracelet is a 100% correct.
  3. Any idea if this bracelet is the correct size? http://m.ebay.com/itm/100-Genuine-IWC-GST-Stainless-Steel-Bracelet-24mm-/252477594194?nav=WATCHING_ENDED
  4. I recognize this, coveted rep and only rep'd with the steel bracelet, you never know until you ask though. I did read, unconfirmed though, that the rep bracelet is a perfect match for the GEN case. Can anyone confirm this?
  5. Hi All- I was fortunate enough to purchase a GEN 3719 a few months ago, its on the rubber strap and while I like it the steel bracelet is a must and I'm trying to find one. Does anyone know if the REP bracelet will fit the GEN case? Anyone have a Aquatimer GST bracelet they don't use and I can buy? Thanks!
  6. I have used the search and have read through a bunch of threads but can't seem to find this. It has to exist, that I know, I just can't find it. Any help?
  7. Craig- I agree that some of the version improvements are pre-planned so people on boars like this will keep demanding fixes and therefore buying new watches. They have always done that, fix one flaw but create another where a v1 had a perfect lugs/case (whatever) v2 then screws that up but fixes a dial issue. Are the LB and LN V2s the current versions Sub C versions? What dealer sells those (or do they all sell them)? I personally have always loved the LV and prefer the older versions without the ceramic bezel to those with the ceramic. TC will be getting my order soon for one of his LV's
  8. Thats helpful, are all the newest Sub-c's that the dealers are selling from the same factory?
  9. Alright, I apologize in advance for this question but I have been out of the rep world for a while and am now just getting back! After not being active for over a year it seems as though some things in the rep world have changed for the better. The H-Factory when I left was the best game in town and now it looks as though they have moved on to other brands and makes, that's a huge step in the right direction. The price vs. quality imbalance seems to have corrected itself from the posts I have read and great quality watches are now at reasonable prices. Question- Sub c- Seems as the sub c is a hot topic but in my search I could not find any reviews of it, last time I was here BK had the best one and it was just ok. Has that changed? Is the new sub c offered by Angus, Sead and the Cartel all coming form the same factory and the same quality? Anyone have a review or link to one that I can read? (I did search and couldn't find one!, so I don't want any use the search button smart ass answers!!) 16610 and 16610LV Are TC and BK still the best games in town? Are any of the other factories making off the shelf anything close to what they offer as far as build quality and detail? I see BK's prices have dropped since I bought his LV v1 and TC is essentially the same price as the old BK's. Thanks for your help guys!!
  10. Happy Birthday Mardo!

  11. Well, I tightened the blue screws and i didn't turn a single one more thant a 1/10 of a turn, but it worked! Shes back running. Thanks for the help.
  12. Great, thanks. I'll try and tighten up the screws and see if that fixes it, if not off to speedy.
  13. I'm in Chicago so Speedy is an option. The balance wheel takes about a 1/4 of a second to stop once it's turned right side up. This watch was built by Vac and it was serviced a few years ago when he built it. I will check the blue screws but dont want to dig too far into it as things usually get worse before they get better if I start tinkering. Also, its a Swiss movement.
