Thanks for the words redwatch.
She was very old (grandmother of my significant other) but its still is a chock to see what the decease can do to a human.
Gives a little reminder to try to live life to the fullest while you can.
Hi all,
Just lost someone in the close family to cancer. It was expected but non the less hard to gripe before the inevitable hits you. She was on a lot of pain relieving meds in the end, and the whole process from discovery to passing away was rather quick. So fortunately she did not suffer to much.
I know some guys on here have and still are struggling with this decease. My thoughts are with you in this battle. Its a horrible decease...
RIP G.K - Im not a religous guy but hopefully there is a place after this life were she can reunite with other friends a family that has passed away before.

Plaifender,
check out the various posts, topics etc on timezone and you will see that some owners of the gen diver put the SS bracelet on theirs.
It is not a standard option for the genuine diver as I know it, but the SS bracelet are avaliable to pruchase at around 2K.
Personally I think the rep AP diver looks great on the SS bracelet. Be sure to get the rubber strap as well so you have the end plots should you decide to get some aftermarket strap for it.

LOL, I like this watch a lot! Design is stunning with the spitfire dial wich is an amazing piece of art in the genuine version.
I tried this on in the IWC boutique in Dubai last year and the only concern for me was that is was to thick for my personal taste, I tend to disslike the wearing comfort of towering watches.
This rep looks pretty good and accurate!
Regarding that this watch would look like a toy etc I dont agree. But can agree that the special edition for the german footbal team or what is was looks a little toyish with the extra colours etc.
