  1. One day I had my watch on and it was fine I took it off at night and noticed the crown was missing. It must have unscrewed and fallen off somehow I really don't know I just lost my crown. So I guess the stem is still in there or broken I just don't know. I know I need the crown I guess it won't be much more for the stem just in case. Any ideas who to contact?
  2. Hello, Rather than annoying every seller I thought I would ask here first. I am after a Crown and possibly a stem for my rep. It is a Rolex Milgauss 116400 with a Swiss ETA-2836-2 25J automatic movement at 28800vph. I'm in the UK and would really appreciate if someone could tell me what dealer would be able to help. Also the other question is do I need both the stem and the crown? I.e. do these two bits normally separate as I didn't think they did. Thanks for anyone who can help.
  3. I have never seen a Milgauss with an ETA-2824 movement. Could you point me to a link and a dealer that sells them? The price is now $305 including EMS delivery. I didn’t want to say who the dealer was as I have been quite critical of the timepiece but the dealer has been great in communicating with me and trying to resolve some of the issues. But if you think it would help I can link to the watch I am going to purchase. Does anyone have any knowledge about the dial and if it can be rotated slightly?
  4. I got a few more pictures from the dealer, it looks as though the ROLEX ROLEX alignment is correct, but the dial has been rotated clockwise by 1 mm or so. Is it possible to rotate the dial back or is this somehow fixed?
  5. Apologies, noobie mistake I was trying to say that i would ideally want a Swiss ETA-2836-2 25J Movement or at worst a Asian ETA-2836 Clone either way I would like one that has a 28800 BPH. The watchden version 'looks' like a lower quality rep compared to the ones from the likes of PWC.
  6. I'm guessing the Watchden ones are 21J? At the very least I would want 25J
  7. This is supposed to be the dealers best version with 316-F Steel and a Genuine Swiss ETA-2836-2 25J Movement! I am paying nearly $350, it feels like I'm getting robed with excellent reps from Robert at PWC selling for $179!
  8. Hello all, It's been a while since I have posted on this forum, but i can assure you that I have been lurking around this and other replica forums just reading up. I am in the process of ordering a Rolex Milgauss 116400 Black from a verified dealer, the replica is their top of the range one with a Swiss ETA 2836-2 25J Movement. I have attached 4 pictures that the dealer has sent me and wanted to know what you think. As a Noob here are my opinions: - 1. First image – The Rolex Crown does not look straight on the clasp it looks like it is angled. 2. Second image – It looks like the R from the ROLEX ROLEX does not line up perfectly with the 35, 40, 45, 50 and 55 minute markers this may be due to the angle in the picture. 3. Third image – The lume on the minute markers looks like it may be unevenly filled. Any opinions on what I have said above or any more that you can add contribute?
  9. I have found these over on the rolexforums.com after JayKay8901 pointed me in the right direction. I wanted to share them as a thanks and to give something back to the forum as you have all been helpful, I hope someone find them useful. I’m still reading up on the Milgauss and it will be my first replica purchase, hopefully I will start to talk to dealers soon.
  10. I got another noob question, I have read about Japan made replicas and Swiss made replicas, im not talking about the movement here but about the quality of replicas. Is this still the case are there Swiss made replicas that are higher quality than their Asian counterparts, and f so what dealer here sells such watches? Thanks for all the feedback. I have been doing lots of reading, and its making my head spin! The only dealer I have contacted yet is PT, although I
  11. Hi JayKay8901, Thank you for your positive response, I really appreciate the help I am getting on this forum. Can I ask why you went for the ETA movement over the Asian 3131 that lanikai has? I am a noob in this area, so I may be getting confused and I do not want to challenge your statement. So I will back up what I say: - If you look back at the first post in this thread by lanikai specifically the second picture in the post, which shows the Genuine Milgauss 116400 GV you can clearly make out the micro etched tiny coronet (Rolex crown) at the 6 o
  12. Hi Nite, did you ever get an answer to this, I really like the watch but I would be devastated if I got one only for it to scratch so easily. Hi Lanikai, at the start of your review you mentioned that this Milgauss replica has some flaws could you let me know what they are? Also does your Milgauss have the micro etched tiny coronet (Rolex crown) at the 6 o
  13. Wow no responses for a couple of days then three all together, reminds me of the London buses, lol. @ PowerShot, Does yours have the micro etched tiny coronet (Rolex crown) at the 6 o
  14. Thanks for the replies so far, much appreciated. @ All, OK I have made a few decisions, I have decided to go with a dealer that ships from the UK/EU. What other dealers are based in either the UK or EU apart from Precious Time as it might be a good idea to ask a few dealers before deciding on which one to go with? I would prefer a dealer that accepts PayPal as a payment type. Is this possible with a dealer from the EU, if yes who? $388 is roughly
  15. Hi all, I am a newbie in this forum, and to the world of replicas. I have fallen in love with the Rolex Milgauss and would like to purchase one. I reside in the UK. I am after the one that has a black dial and the green sapphire. I have a few questions and not sure where to go for advice. 1. I am worried that if I purchase outside the UK I may be stung with customs tax, what are other UK members experience regarding this? Will recommended sellers list the item as a gift/zero value to avoid customs? 2. I am worried that if I select a seller in the UK or the EU I may not get the best deal/quality. Any suggestions? 3. I would also like a matching box and papers set as I am a bit pedantic like that and keep boxes for everything I buy, would it be best to purchase this separately or from the same recommended seller? 4. Could members give me feedback on a few of the recommended sellers they have used with reference to the quality of the replica and price? 5. I am leaning towards a Swiss ETA movement if I can afford it. 6. Oh one last thing is there any recommended seller on here that is willing to waterproof the watch and test it before posting it to me? I’m not planning on swimming with it but it would be nice to know that I could if I wanted too The most I have ever spent on a watch before this is a Seiko kinetic from Argos that cost me £80 that was over 8 years ago and has lasted me well until the capacitor died and I haven’t got round to replacing it. So this is a very big purchase for me and one that I don’t want to take the decision on lightly.
