Hello everyone! I have been offered this Omega Speedmaster Mark IV, which i think is from the '70s. I dont know much about this watches. I think it was a daily beater, It has had better days. My questions are; 1. is it genuine? 2. What would you say is the value on it? to make a fair offer, Considering is in rough condition. Thanks

It's being a while since my last post, but i want to thank you all for all the great info i have read. I believe, people in this forum know better than in "authentic" watch forums. I have the chance to buy from a friend this, W series, 1995 submariner 14060. He bought it 2nd hand around 10 yrs ago @ $2000. He gave it to me all dirty and unpolished, He told me, he sent it to an mayor authorized rolex establishment in NY for service, around 3 yrs ago. i lightly washed it and brushed the bracelet a little. but It has seen better days! It's crystal, is scratched in the border edge around 12 to 2 area, Mechanically, works great, i have not notice anything out of ordinary. He sells it to me for $3200. Questions: 1. Does it look authentic? 2. Does it all look good? i mean, parts look the part (no changes for series or specs) 3. Would you rate this as a "must have"? considering; series, movement (3000), pro's vs con's 3. Is this a fair price? 4. Any Observations would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Again!! RAD ps. I will get pictures of the movement, as soon i get it opened. I took all this pictures with Iphone 4s.

Could anybody help me identify this Rolex Movement? it's 35.9mm Does it look modify or anything wrong, odd? I noticed the regulator letters are in a different color, does that mean something? What are your thoughts? Thanks
