  1. Well...maybe you should just let it go then
  2. I like this place: http://elitedealseeker.com/index.cgi?category=watches
  3. I have waited a long time before purchase, always something else came up, but finally I bought it from the latest batch from Andrew. If you meant shipping time, it was quite nomal, about 10 days. Actually I bought two, one for a friend. As a good friend, I am now the owner of an excellent rep with a slightly inaccurate bezel. Looking for a gen/rep bezel or tab, anyone?
  4. Seems like the gen bezel is the way to go then. Appreciate all input, thx.
  5. Thank you - will do. These screws are only pressed in, right? I was thinking I could swap rider from the SOFS (which is sent away for repair), but from what I have read that will not work.
  6. Hi After what felt like an endless wait I yesterday received the long wanted watch. After carefully unpacking I inspected the watch and it looked fantastic! Truly a super rep. Went proud for an evening walk and felt like a million
  7. These pics were posted in the "let's see your Breitlings" - tread. Same thing I think..?
  8. I have seen this on a few other pictures here on RWG too. Seems like the golden rings around the hour markers reflects on the white dial. On other members watches this phenomenon is not present. I always fooled myself thinking the other pic's were Photoshopped but now I'm worried. It should be a swiss from the information I was given, have no reason to believe anything else, AR seems fine to me, but no expert I am... Here are a few pictures that I recieved before purchase, is this a 'normal' SOSF or is it a freak-watch?
  9. Sure. Sorry about the quality but had to rush a bit here. Bought this one from a member on the forum, keeps perfect time, not sure what batch it is.
  10. Seems like I've got myself a SOSF without a serial number then. No numbers below this one on my watch.
  11. Jupp, sure. Must say first that I'm no watchsmith at all, and this is about the most I've done on my watches except for regulating speed.. 1. Sent dealer, in this case Andrew, one email, requesting bezel insert, color black 2. Got the insert free in no time (thank you very much, btw) 3. Thinking what the h... do I do next 4. Searching the forum 5. Finding different post describing the procedure Fetched a hair-dryer, heated the bezel for about 20-30 secs and the bezel insert was loose in the groove. It's actually cheap, two-sided tape that is holding the insert, looks disappointing actually. Mine had scratches so I didn't bother to be careful when ripping it off. Then use double-sided tape, or super-glue to reinstall your new insert. Be careful, if you use to much glue here, the bezel could be VERY hard to turn afterwards. It happended to me, clumsy as I am, and I stayed up all night just turning the bezel so that it shouldn't freeze... kiddin. Good luck
  12. Or you can go for the Jaeger Le Coultre Reverso that I bought for my wife 3 weeks ago...just make sure you get a newer and more updated version than the one I got Her patience and understanding about me spending hours and hours on the forum dropped instantly for a moment there.
  13. I got somehow tired of my PO 4gen Orange myself, but I swapped to a black bezel insert. That made the watch all new and fresh to me. A very easy operation, and my supplier sent me the insert in no time. Jonas
  14. Hi Schultz I have a Navi World with 28.800bph, beautiful wearing comfort and a real good looker she is too. All hands lines up perfectly, and the GMT function seems in perfect order too..... sorry....just had to say it. Jonas
