  4. +1 on what Nanuq said, achieving that case profile is very impressive. The 6541 is one of the hardest vintage Rolex models to build, mainly due to lack of decent case to start from. Very gen like feel to that one!
  5. Great initiative! I’m also in for: 10x2mm 10x1.9mm
  6. ^+1, please also elaborate om the vintagizing
  7. So very sad to read this, surprised it hasn’t reached us earlier. Rolli and I worked together on a pvd project some years back, he was in and out of hospitals already then - but always so extremely engaged and with such deep Panerai knowledge. Long evenings and nights with mixed English/German... R, you’ll be very missed.
  8. Been wondering where you went mate, great to see you back! My old school gen dial 3714 (with Domi’s ”graphite” mod) finally gave up last month - thinking about the ZF. Should be more stable movement right? Third HH of the thread says hi
  9. Hats off to you sir, great work with dial and hands! That 7922 looks fabulous!
  10. Wow, what stunning watches!! If you plan on doing a proper 6536 (ie not a 6536/1 that has the bigger 27.7mm dial) and get a great 6538 dial, maybe we can swap dials in the end Aftermarket dome - at least some years back the CWP T19 was a good option.
  11. Also miss 6538 threads here. Still have that dream about finding a perfect 6538 dial...
  12. Puffpuff - welcome to this great forum. Glad to see you appreciating the high dial work posted here in threads! If you are serious about ”getting in touch” I’d recommend you clarifying that you have YES as answer to all questions below. Have you: • Decided exactly what dial you are after (reference and variation)? • Set aside $2000+ to fund the purchase without haggling? • Verified that you in a blind test can tell the difference between this dial and eg something from Phong / Yuki etc? (depending on reference) • Made sure you have suitable company for this dial already? (no, cartel case and eta movement is not the right answer) If you are clear about that, I assume the dialogue here might become more constructive.
  13. Rolli / w0lf 202/a on genuine PAV
