  1. Can someone compare the caseback for me ? I can't the difference between the gen and rep movement, there's not much resource on the gen
  2. http://www.lpvbespokeleather.com/ Thanks for the referral mark The mesh is great on the chrono, not so much on the classic automatic, you'd want something popping to pair with the portofino, because the dial of the portofino in my opinion is very plain, it's stilla good simple dress watch though.
  3. Try your local AP dealer/service center. This is part # for 15300 (but I believe the 15300 endlinks fit on the 15400 as well) - 4 X Plots PL.222.014.ST - 2 X Screws for strap VI.254.066.ST - 2 X Nuts for screw above VI.253.056.ST - 4 X Screws for attaching strap to case VI.254.023.BC (these are white gold)
  4. In my watch list on the bay for a while now. The best looking ROC beside Messi one IMHO. Congrats
  5. If you need Nautilus strap, contact me. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lpvbespokeleather/sets/72157639337804755/
  6. Forget the reps, they 50-150$ junks, similar to Canal St. There are a lot of places to dine at (some local some restaurant): Cuc Gach (southern), Ngu Binh or Mi Tau (best central VN food), Cha Ca La Vong, Ben Thanh Market (day or night for a fun experience), Thien Nam; Bun Rieu Nguyen Canh Chan, Hu Tiu Ca Nam Loi, etc. In Nha Trang, stay at Sheraton if you prefer an active trip (it's by the shore and close to everywhere). In town, try Nem Nuong, Bo Lac Canh, seafood restaurant by the cliff (I forgot the name..). Visit Sailing Club at night, it's like a beach bar. If you prefer relax trip, go to the island resort (Vin Pearl or Six Sense-top notch). Otherwise, visit Da Nang & Hoi An instead.
  7. Haha yes J, just realized it's you on this board. Returning customers get slight discount. Even board members do. I just didn't know you're here. Just inform me next time. Vintaged Godiva Brown it is
  8. Guys, I'm here haha. It's true that the previous batch was not as good. Especially the Santoni ones because I was still experimenting. Until the second batch, things got way closer to true patina. And the third batch like the one jtiis got. And sometimes I just had a bad cut of leather (not that the process or the leather is bad, but the gator itself has "natural" wrinkles and scars, usually on old gators -they fight too much I guess lol-). If you see below the Panerai ones, they're flawless (cut from baby gator however, so there are less large scale pattern). But at the end of the day, the feel of the gator is there. The padding is also improved so now it's softer and less hard "unworn". I'm still trying to source good quality orange lining. The majority of my orders come from gen owners so there aren't much rep buyer reviews.
  9. White Dial, Blue Numerals, Decorated Movement = Mineral White Dial, Blue Numerals, Non-Decorated Movement = Sapphire White Dial, Black Numerals, Decorated Movement = Mineral White Dial, Black Numerals, Non-Decorated Movement = Sapphire That's what Trevor said.
  10. My Swiss IWC Vintage Ingenieur is definitely a keeper. I have five straps just for it and just rotate them around. Mesh bracelet, dark brown, tan, black and blue.
  11. Sir, you have got yourself a minute repeater! Jk, you should open the case back and check if something is up in there
  12. Novshop@neomailbox.net He will make it before you pay. Don't waste the guy's time and effort making it for you.
  13. I thought the Swiss option TDs offer is high beat ? Did you replace the slower your self ?
