having recently bought a watch from this forum, it arrived this week. sadly the crown will not screw down and stay down, just about catches then pops. Assume and hope that the crown has stripped and not the tube. I removed the stem and crown and broke it all down but its hard to tell which has stripped. more likely to be the crown i assume though. Anyway , had a look on ebay and there are a few available but wanted to ask your advice, its a 21J watch i believe, so i can retain the stem and tube hopefully, any recommendations where to source a good rep 5.3mm crown though? I would sent to my friend RA but he currently has my 5512 for some work, so believe it will be some time before i can get this 1675 fixed and really want to wear it. the seller has offered some money towards the repair, so keen to keep costs low if i can having already spent a lot on this watch which was a nice to have and wasn't really budgeted for! haha thanks in advance.

haha more of a peer meeting rather than client/supplier so more innocent banter, than anything else, she knows i have no business credibility

business meet in london today and i was using a rep starwalker pen, the lady i was meeting had the same pen. she complemented my taste and told me hers was a very special present. i said its beautiful is it real, she looked very insulted and said of course it is, i said may i see it, she handed it over and i held it side by side with mine and told her id paid less then £20 for mine and for her to look at how identical they were, so much so that you cant tell which is which, her next reaction was magic she shot across the table and grabbed her pen back. the rep and gen were almost absolutely identical, the depth and size of MONT BLANC being the only tell. Later in the meeting she left the room, got up from her chair/walked out. Got to the door and walked back and picked her pen up, she was clearly worried I was going to switch them it was very funny.... so did I do the switch?????
