  1. It's a beauty. The dial seems better made than the one Joey used. It's more precise. I think I'll start my project soon
  2. The other day I was looking around a little, and I think Ingod has the best one, until now. But I might have missed some other site.
  3. Actually the Tiger case seems the best or almost. At least, of all the ones I checked in various sites. Maybe I'll get one.
  4. I was thinking about getting one of these, but I was checking some sites and by my, really poor, knowledge, the various dials, bezels, are not accurately made. Also the strap seems to be different, keeping in mind that's a single shot taken from the film, where the watch is illuminated by a lighter. The biggest differences I noticed in the various reps are the two rows "200 metres... " being placed too above, too far from the 6 marker. Also the numbers on the bezels are too big than the originals and they all connect, or almost connect, against the inner part of the bezels while the originals are almost against the outer side. So I'm looking if there might be something useful to make this beauty. This is the link to one of the many sites talking about Bond's watches: http://rolexblog.blogspot.it/2005/02/chapter-3-sean-connerythe-original.html Hope it's not already been posted.
  5. For what I know, it should be everyone who says "faux 6 subdial", PC is one of them. And it's where I've got my 6263. Too bad the bracelet wasn't like the one in the pics.
  6. I think I'll throw my 6263 rep in the garbage can Or. I'll try to search for parts (not expensive like those you used) to make it better
  7. Fellow watches lovers, hope you forgive me if I'm asking for an help from the experts in here. I have to get a bezel for my 6263 rep (seconds at 9). I've lost the one that was on the watch. I don't know how, one day I was checking the time and I've noticed the bezel had gone. I wrote the guy I've bought it, actually I don't remember his name at all nor the site. He sent me another one, but probably someone at the customs decided to keep it for himself... Now I saw three on the bay, one didn't appeal me too much, the other two are stated as "bakelite". They're quite similar, even though the one in AZ looks a little more realistic then the greek. I've never seen an original 6263 bezel so I need your opinions. I haven't posted the links because I don't know if is allowed. Anyways they're "on air" right now. It might be possible I'll start to track down the parts to modify it, since is my all time favourite watch, Thanx alot for the help.
  8. Auẞergewöhnlich. Wonderful. The King of watches. Though, for that amount I'd have waited to cash in a little more and get the gen. But. The search for the parts and, most important, the building process justifies the money/effort (I'm also a modeler  )
  9. Ich bin Neu hier. Great to know there's someone in Eu who can do stuff on our Uhren. Ciao Domenico e... lucky you to be in Deutschland
  10. Just found this site by chance. I'll read it some then I'll participate, I hope, writing. Cheers and thanks everybody
