  1. I suppose, particularly for a daily beater, it would probably have to be my Pam Luminor chrono. One dealer calls it a 250, but the Panerai website says the SS bracelet one is a 236. I've never posted a picture before, but here's one from the official Panerai site: actually, I am unable to paste a picture into this post. How do you do that? I don't know. But I am able to past the bookmark and here it is, on the Panerai site. http://www.panerai.com/img/2/prodotti/1143...2000236_ind.jpg Nathaniel
  2. Dear Overbooster, I know squat about discerning a real Daytona from a rep, but several things don't pass the Nathaniel smell test. First the guy sounds like a carnie barker trying to turn the tip (too much time watching carnies on HBO) Second, he says he's a big time seller, yet he only has 28 feedbacks, and only 2 of those are from sales he made... the rest seem to be all purchases he made. Does that make a lot of sense? How do we know they weren't both setups. I'm not saying the buyers made false statements, but he could have sold something genuine and given AAA service just to get some good ratings from buyers. Who knows? I don't, and that's part of the problem, IMO. I just don't see anything to back up his big ticket items he claims he sold. Also, as someone else pointed out, they thought he was showing a genuine Daytona, and perhaps the rest were his watch. Also, only one photo really shows the dial, and it's kind fuzzy, and maybe that's a real one he may have lifted? To my wayof thinking, too many questions. I see now that he shows it is sold. I only hope the person buying it knows what they are doing. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
  3. Actually in the topic I was referring to the biblical punishment, not getting high. I've been looking for a decent replica for some time, and every time I think I've found a site I might be able to trust, like a "information / review site", I then find they're just part of the scam they warn others to be aware of. Very disheartening. Very simply, I've been looking for a 2-tone, blue submariner, and too many sites try to tell you for about a grand they have "swiss quality, ETA Mecaline 2834 or 2836 movements, solid 18kt on the bands (bracelets?), crown and bezel, and high quality solid 440 ss. Someone vendor was actually "just getting into swiss replicas" and he was probably honest and said the gold was 5 microns and an "asian" movement (not very specific). Some other vendor said his watches were "quad wrapped." After spending a short time here, but many hours, I find that anthing more than about $200 or less is getting you nothing but financially laid. But, then I see when anyone asks here, or on for a referral to someone who is honest and actually has good quality subs, everyone hoots them off the boards and makes fun of them for their ignorance or because they don't understand some labyrinthian code of secret conduct that can only be perceived by some long internship of staring into a replica crystal until total enlightenment is somehow magically bestowed. Regrettably, my birthday is coming up soon and my wife wants to buy me a high quality, Blue, 2-tone gold/ss rolex with a swiss movement. So, at the risk of being stoned is there somewhere, here on this board, or another board where I can go to discuss this without being made fun of? I hope so, Thanks, Nathaniel
