I'm up for a similar mod to my mbw 1665 GW. I was looking at the NDT dials as they have a gen sized date window I believe. I have an ingod rail dial and the window is smaller than gen. My question is what's the date alignment like if I fit a NDT dial on an eta movement. It does have a Polex Pete DWO. Has anyone tried this mod who could confirm the window to DWO alignment will be ok. Thanks..

Hi Mech, The CG's look very good.... very refreshing..lol. Are you buying only the mid case or the complete kit. Id love to see the case back engraving and bezel assembly too. Just like the rest of us, I can't wait to see it finished. I hope it all goes smoothly for you from here.

Hi Guys Do we know if a gen 1665 bezel will fit on a mbw retaing ring or do you have to use a gen retainer too? I know Vlydog and Freddie have done this upgrade. Thanks in advance.

Here is a pic before the watch went to RJ for case shaping. The dial is an Ingod rail dial. NDT have what I think is the same dial for sale only they are charging a lot more than Ingod did. I'll post some more pics when the watch arrives home.

Hi RJ, Thanks for posting the pics today. This is a nice bday treat for me today as the watch looks amazing. I had no doubt you would be able to bring out the best in the parts as you always do. Now I just can't wait to get it back home Diesel, Good guess with the parts list. mbw case - interesting point on the case back but I think it's a standard mbw? Yes it's for a drsd but that's another upgrade Ingod rail dial, mbw hands, Clarks t39 crystal - I think. Athya 702 crown and tube plus the fat spring bars and just add a dash of Rolojack. Shaken and not stirred voila!

I'm interested to know too. The bezel teath look better than my MBW. Do you know how much are the MQ bezels cost?

I have a polex pete silver DWO behind my Ingod rail dial in an old mbw case. The dates line up really well with the window. I'd also be interested in a couple of DWO's with a white background or if its possible a light silver with the flash as per the gen would be even better Either way i'm in.

That's cool Freddy. So a gen date wheel will work behind an MBW dial on a AS 2086 movement. I want that mod!

Hi Rolo I think the flat bezel it's an interesting idea. It sounds like your up for a new fresh challenge with your next build. You must have most of the classics in your collection. I have seen a few posted. It would be interesting to see a group shot of your collection

That looks great, I didn't know that TC was making the LV again. The bezel teeth look deeper than the TC 16610 V5 I had last year. Thats a great improvement if they are. The TC watch is so gen like, a really great rep. Enjoy and good health!
