Decent guy but I think you need to scrutinize the QC pictures.
I ordered a superlumed watch, but the lume was far from "super" in any sense. Besides the product not meeting my hopes, the interactions with him was decent.
Wow, even the 1 marking on the dial looks corrected as opposed to what I saw before! Is this an actual QC pic? Awesome watch, even if you are only going for the crystal
Hello
I recently added my first rolex rep to collection - a submariner
http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/168472-sold-rolex-noobmariner-116610ln-w-a2836-v1-or-2/#entry1321893
could you guys tell me what version this is?
thanks!
I bought myself a BR01-92 some months ago.
It was "superlumed" but lume is poor and the pvd coating easily etches of - perhaps a trait of any PVD, I wouldn't know.
This was the 1:1 version from Andrew.
Other than that, it works well
The BR has got a Asia ETA 2892-2 Automatic 21J - this one makes the loudest noise
The noobmariner some 2836 asian
as long as its all normal im happy, i just thought it was abit loud but their all running fine still so
Was comparing it to a simple seiko movement i have, it doesn't seem to make any noise i can hear.
Hello
I've got two replica watches in my collection, first one was a BR01-92, second one is a v1/v2 Noobmariner.
Both sporting asian movements(i think).
When I got the br01 the rattle was something i had read about was somewhat expecting.
Now I just got my Noobmariner and it also rattles,
My question is what is causing the rattling and is it prone to have parts fall out inside the movement if i shake them?
I don't think it's like that, I've bought some off Andrew before. Not sure why he would say their not beeing made if they are. He also has them listed on his website, I just contacted him to check about that faulty 1 marking on the dial and he replied with them not beeing made.
Shame that toro one also has the funky 1..
I was sold on this watch after reading this topic.
I contacted Andrew in relation to this watch but apparently the crazy hours isnt produced anymore.. what gives?
Hi!
Also green here, and yea, patek is sweet. Was close to pulling the trigger on one but went with a bell and ross instead - which i now regret getting in PVD coating...
Got the watch today!
First impressions I'm pretty happy with it but some things ive noticed is,
The glass seems to reflect light alot, making reflections on the wall..
Also the lume, I think I saw somewhere that the genuine's lume emitts blue? Can someone confirm this? BR01-92 PVD
I suppose thats an inherited trait of all mechanical watches then.
Ive only got one mechanical watch, its a gen seiko 5 sports, It doesn't keep time that well, though I couldn't give you any specifics.
Just got to keep remembering myself to synch it against some NTP source once in a while so that I dont convince myself its accurate - been wearing quartz watches for years and they tend to be accurate
