  1. Hello Wondering if I could get some advice on a replacement date wheel for my 1675 build. This is the last piece of the puzzle I am searching for. Open 6/9 flat top 3. Anticlockwise font so it works with an Asian 2836-3. (Will replace the Asian ETA in time but want to wear this bad boy until the right movement comes along.) Thanks for your help!
  2. Can anyone tell me of a good source for a replacement dial for a PAM 337? I have not been able to find any info on dials for a 42mm radiomir so would welcome any thoughts from the experts. Thanks
  3. Im up for having a go at making the adjustment asciwhite. I am a Rolex man so have never opened a Panerai. Any tips if I go down that route?

  5. Just received my first Panerai from Angus at Puretime today - a PAM 337 42mm. I have been wanting a Radiomir for ages but unfortunately they are just too big for my wrist. When I found out that Puretime were doing a 42mm rep I was right on it. I am so disappointed with the watch. The case, crown and strap are very good quality but the dial is appalling. The "RADIOMIR / PANERAI" logo is not centred correctly and the whole watch mechanism must be mounted incorrectly in the case as the dial is about 2.5 degrees off centre. I have heard that Puretime are such a good dealer because of the attention to details and quality of their reps. So frustrating when the makers of these watches have done such an amazing job with 95% of a watch then drop the attention to detail in the most obvious of areas. I have contacted Puretime and hope that they will be able to replace it with a better one from their stock. Fingers crossed!
  6. Thanks very much everybody - really useful stuff. Had a bit of a nightmare yesterday as I wore the watch for the first time and found out its loosing about 10mins every hour! Nightmare. I now have a nice aged rep that looks great but doesn't work as a watch. Think I may have to get a new movement before the crystal!!! Thanks again.
  7. Hello First of all, thanks to everyone that contributes to this forum. I have been checking out posts, researching and fawning over a lot of Rolex reps on this forum for a few months now and the information here has been invaluable. Recently I started my first modding project (ageing a Rolex 1675 bought from Kingwatch) To my surprise, everything has gone to plan and I am really happy with how the watch has turned out. To fade the insert I tried all sorts of techniques (Bleaching, dipping in acetone, UV light) Unfortunately none of this made the slightest difference to the pepsi insert. I tried buffing with a dremel and brasso and ended up getting a really nice look. I didn't want to over do it too much so I stopped and re-assembled the watch. A few hours later I thought I might do a little bit more to the insert. Unfortunately I didn't take the besel of the watch before I did this and I have caught the crystal ever so slightly with the dremel. Im not sure if the crystal is as accurate as it could be anyway as I have seen some other reps on here where the crystal seems quite high. Would any of you knowledgeable folk be able to point me in the direction of which is the most accurate crystal for a 1675 and where I can get this? Many thanks,
