  1. Is that how you manage to post so many wristies? You only wear them for three minutes each
  2. Give it time, and there might well be. The Noob is going to put pressure on even though the rest of the watch isn’t wonderful. I doubt Noob actually make the movement anyway, so potentially ARF could buy that movement and produce a suitable case. The current ARF doesn’t fit a gen movement so I doubt the Noob movement would fit
  3. Puretime05 is the correct site. They are a TD here so we can help with any issues. For$500 you will get a good rep. I wouldn’t completely trust the waterproofing on a new rep, but it is a simple matter for a good watchsmith to grease the gaskets and threads as well as pressure test it, if you really need it watertight. Premium 1:1 like AAAAA+ is marketing BS. If it was 1:1 Rolex would be out of business. There are always tells, but they get smaller and smaller on the best reps and often need super magnification to spot anyway. It becomes an obsession learning about these tiny details
  4. Now that is gentlemanly behaviour from both of you and is something we encourage around here. PM sent to both of you.
  5. Probably would have been better to start a new thread. You are both new, so just relax and let the conversation flow. Sometimes we get off track, but we can always get back on again
  6. When I’m feeling a t**t, I take my watch off. It’s the gentlemanly thing to do for a number of reasons🤣
  7. The Noob 2836 and 3135 use different cases though the dealers often use the same pictures. The Noob 3135 is the most accurate case. Lots of Fraken builds with gen dial, hands, crown, bezel insert and crystal built on the Noob 3135 A lot depends who is doing the comparison. Some of our guys you can’t sneak anything past. AD can usually tell, though they have been caught out before. Most of the population, not a hope, most of the people I see daily can’t tell my gen R factory Sub from my $20 Quartz knock off, which I find hilarious
  8. Noob case is better. ARF dial and clasp. Life ain’t easy
  9. An ETA 7750 and a clone 7750 are interchangeable. I’m guessing you have a dial with sub-dials at 6,9,12? Many clones are converted to 3,6,9. However if you are replacing movement and dial, that shouldn’t be an issue. I have seen a rep Speedmaster with 6,9,12 spacing but I’m damned if I can find it now. Okay damned I am then, I’ve just found one http://www.silix-prime.net/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=115_150_191&products_id=1696 Hope that helps

  11. @SSTEEL Micky will no doubt contact you now😀
  12. You pays your money and makes your choice my friend. I don’t like the ARF case and a far more knowledge friend said the same thing the other day. He also said that the ARF rehaut is iffy. On the other hand ARF has good SEL fit and Noob generally don’t. Either benefits enormously from a gen dial and hands if you can stretch that far
  13. The genuine inserts varied somewhat, the earlier ones were a lovely olive green.
  14. I think MQ are the best I have seen and it seems to be a commonly held view. Check QC pictures very carefully, he has been known to have some inconsistencies and like most sellers will dump inferior goods on the unwary or uninformed I’ve heard
  15. Phong sells pretty poor 5508 dials as well. I don’t really think any vendor is a one stop shop unfortunately
  16. I would look at the Noob V7 personally. The case shape is better than the ARF imo. Watch for SEL gaps on QC, Noobs often have big gaps.
  17. That is a beauty. Where did you source the case and dial please?
  18. Honestly I wouldn’t bother. If you can actually find genuine 126600 parts they will cost a fortune. The Yuki movement is a copy of the 3135 calibre not the 3235. The 2824 and the 3235 hands move in the same direction when manually adjusting them, the 3135 moves the opposite way. Also I am not sure where you would source suitable hands for a 43mm 126600 that fit a Yuki movement. The ARF is a really good rep, if you haven’t bought a rep for a while, you will be amazed. Buy one and wear the heck out of it
  19. Now you hit the nail right on the head brother. Do the math(s), The Roman Empire was about 50 Million, everyone who has ancestors from within the former Roman Empire is related, everyone who has Caucasian ancestry and is from The Crimea is family. No matter what nationality or skin colour one claims, we are all cousins and family. We are everyone of us family, we can nuke the planet over which NATO best suites a 16610 or we can learn to live in peace until we know if this small blue dot is the only place with life In the words of those far wiser than me “let’s hope there is intelligent life somewhere out in space because there is fuck all here on Earth”
  20. And you a humble shelf stacker😂 Not far from the tree my dear friend
  21. Feeling kind of animal which always leads eventually to Mr Brian Hugh Warner, then inevitably that leads to John William Lowery, who is one of the best and most overlooked guitarists ever and a very humble and nice guy, but unfortunately that leads to country music, which I truly hate, but damn it sounds good when he plays it
  22. Holidays and alcohol😀 I got one of those, she is 28 and a doctor (MD) and about the best thing I ever did drunk or sober
  23. “I had a dream!” Could be wrong, but that is my guess. Like all forum Mods I know f all, but my best guess is the Dark Lord has a nice business at the moment that has nothing to do with reps but might involve someone I know...... or not
  24. You took a Ginault and replaced the dial thereby removing the semi mythical desert sand collected from under the Blackpool Big Dipper? You brave and extraordinary man you. Only the power of the Brotherhood of SH protects you from the curse of the ‘Mercian Mummy Drill the lugs, Drill the lugs! You know you want to.
