  1. Beautiful watch. The mechanism looks different from other skeletons. I love the stacking of the springs. I didn't know this existed. If they were $2000, I may have bought this over my Oris Artelier Skeleton.
  2. Anyone have or have comments on the new ROLEXROLEXROLEX rehaut watches, especially the two-tone? http://www.joshwatch.com/rlst01003-wrapped...836-p-5217.html It seems that it is from the noob factory which has been well reviewed, but the rehaut etching is new. Wondering if anyone has purchased one yet.
  3. I honestly have no idea why someone would need a watch on a wrist while chopping wood . You could put any time-piece in a pocket/carry a cell-phone if you are so far away from your home. Oh, and wearing a watch while working on a car is not only dangerous to your cars exterior, but also potentially LIFE-THREATENING for the potential of getting stuck in moving parts or forming a ground short in the electrical system. I have seen burns down to bone having come from this practice. ...Or were you just being rude and insulting with your comments, Penguin? Rather typical childish internet behavior and I would hope that you consider not using it on this forum
  4. So..... What actually happens at 600ft... And then what happens when you get all the way down to 1800m A transposition perhaps? Perhaps a 600m/2000ft would be more inline with water depth and equivalents (600m = 1968.5ft.). I belieive rolex puts an approximation similar to this on their subs. Good luck with the class
  5. As an Oris fan, I purchased an Artelier Skeleton from a dealer in Australia and was very happy. They seem to have the best pricing from an AD. I wonder if this EBay dealer has an association? Australia is a BIG place, so perhaps not (See EDIT). Here is the dealer: Friends of Oris 37 Jeays St Bowen Hills AU 4000 Brisbane tel.: +61-7-32574922 Here is a website to get pricing (NOTE: They can't technically get you pricing through the site, but follow the instructions and you will get everything you need quite easily): http://www.watch-czar.com/ There is a link to get access to a PDF which has their current pricelist. Or just call/use their LIVECHAT. Nice people to work with. (EDIT: Noticed that the EBay dealer mentioned in the OP actually ships from Taiwan, so there seems to be no Australia connection. )

  7. Whew! What a relief. For a second there I thought I might never be able to buy this: Although I did fence , and I can sail .....Hmmm, let me break out the eye patch
  8. I'm trying to remember, but I believe I got my Tag Heuer Link Chrono from andrew at TrustyTime rather than Jos (another frequent dealer for me), but only because I wanted the correct grey dial/polished bezel combo. Other than that specific model (which he may have now) I use either "with confidence"
  9. Welcome HVAC is definitely the way to go But if you must, then the opinions and info here can certainly point you in the direction of a good replica watch Best of luck in your adventures
  10. Lunatics Three lunatics approach their Asylum doctor with a request for a weekend pass to the local city. "That's impossible says the doctor. You're all nuts. You'll get lost and never come back." But, the lunatics wouldn't relent until finally, exasperated, the doctor says "OK! If you can answer a simple question I'll sign the pass." He turns to the first lunatic and says "What's three times three?" The lunatic starts counting on his fingers "3, 7, 19, 38?. Is it 128?" The doctor shakes his head and turns to the next lunatic: "What's three times three?" The lunatic immediately shouts "WEDNESDAY!" The doctor, beginning to get disgusted turns to the last lunatic: What's three times three?" The lunatic thinks for a moment and then asks for a pencil and a piece of paper. That provided, she writes for some time furiously, and finally looks up and says "Nine." The doctor is amazed, but true to his word he begins filling out the pass. As he's writing he says "This is incredible, you've always been thoroughly insane. How'd you do it?" The lunatic responds, "Oh, it was easy I divided 128 by Wednesday!"
  11. My expensive designer jeans/shirts/jackets all come from specialty shops called "Salvation Army" and "Goodwill". It's amazing what you can find: New, Left at expensive dry cleaners, etc. BUT, you need a rather big urban environment to get the new "Zegna" shirt or the in box "Bruno Magli" shoes. But I'm a bit weird. Others I'm sure prefer to do it the easy way with a few hundred dollars in their pocket
  12. Yes, I like fast cars. The ones shared are all very nice representations of the genre. Thanx for posting them.
