  1. Both well done. However, due to the larger case and considerably thicker case than 3717, I feel that the TG needs a thicker strap like what is shown on the first picture.
  2. Nice one, welcome to the club! Wear it in good health.
  3. As posted above, the newer batch comes with non sunken datewheel. Other dealers have this watch too.
  4. Nice gesture by The Zigmeister. As stated, no need to get extra hands, just use the existing one. The one that needs modification is chrono second counter hand.
  5. I have checked out ebay from time to time. Genuine bracelet costs about 800USD. Ridiculously expensive IMHO.
  6. I think that is an enhanced contrast. In person, I don't think it will be that bright. Multi coat Superluminova doesn't guarantee that it will be that bright all night long. The yellow lume is really very weak and the pictures above are really overrating it.
  7. hontwatch may have the non sunken DW as well. I am awaiting his pictures to confirm.
  8. The C1 has indeed a little bit of bluish tint. Anyhow, the initial glow is bright but it dims out within minutes and stays glowing till a few hours. The St Exupery is worth owning, you only need to tone down the silvery subdial.
  9. Ask for thinner lume markers too if possible. Here's mine:
  10. This replica of ceramic Ingenieur is not very accurate. Look for the reasons given above. I think you can't go wrong with these models: Ingenieur AMG Ti Chrono/non Chrono Ingenieur SS Chrono/non Chrono I was torn between all these models. All has their unique flaws so I settled with 3 of them and start modifying them. Firstly on all AMG rep, the caseback is not really 1:1. You can see the genuine has much better finishing. The Ti feels slightly different too. The genuine has a much finer finishing. On the chronograph models, you have to deal with dodgy Asian 7750 with running second at 6. So if reliability tops your list, go for non chrono version. The non chrono version suffers from slightly wrong datefont and short minute hand. Apart from that, none of the caseback looks 1:1 to original. The Co. on SS model is wrong and again the Ti AMG models suffers from slightly less detailed caseback. The bottom line if you go for one of these, get a double sided AR coating. It makes a huge difference. Watch out for dodgy bracelet too. I have seen recent SS bracelet on this Ingenieur is not as well made as the older first generation.
  11. Very fine piece, really The dial and hands can sometimes be found on the Bay. I got mine there the last time.
  12. Look out for overal parts quality and the finishing on the whole movement. Swiss still has the upper hand. Anyway, the balance stud looks differently in most Swiss ETA7750 too. As for the rotor, this looks like an older 17j ETA7750 model. The newer one comes with a different rotor bearing.
  13. Pardon me for bad pictures but in reality, the AR looks much better than in picture. The crystal just disappears. Credits to Chieftang.
  14. I have to disagree that the new style bracelet is better than the old one. I have seen many on the gen (newer version that is). It just doesn't look as well crafted and well blended onto the watch as what the old bracelet did. The new bracelet is a single piece construction on each link, leaving it not so possible for Ti/SS combo.
  15. I like the B series more, that I agree but the price is just ridiculous. This one is also rare here. We will see what comes next.
