  4. @Upland: Props for the Dufour nod...easily an exit watch! I would never exit collecting for any watch, but hope some day to own a Glash
  5. Lani, I think it looks great too! I just didn't like that the edge of the crystal on the rep is clear when looked at from the edge...in other words, the crystal itself is not green as it is on the genuine, it's just coated green. It's a great rep, well worth the cost, and I don't mean to knock it...just sharing my neurosis with the community! Besides, if the genuine Milgauss doesn't come with AR, it should with a dial like that! Hey...it's this community's fault I notice anything like this to begin with, so cheers to RWG!
  6. As much as this watch is a stunner (I owned one for a short period) and as cool as the AR is, I believe the genuine crystal looks completely different. Is there AR on the genuine? I know when you look at the genuine crystal from the side (the beveled edge above the watch bezel) it is close to the color of a Coke bottle, more like jade. When you look at this crystal from the side it is clear, as the color comes from the AR. I still love the "pop and cool" of this watch and it's a wonderful design; great pics as always Lani! I think the non-GV black dial version is the better bet for accuracy and I really love the idea of this watch on a strap...the only Rolex (other than a 5517!) that to me looks "right" on a strap.
  7. Nope...I think it's mine, the only difference is my gen dial and hands are going on a gen movement and the crystal is from Takashi with gen-like AR It's great to see so many wonderful frankens of this amazing and perfectly designed pilot watch! I've said it before, but it bears repeating: this watch has a flawless aesthetic design and has a huge range of compatible fashion, from jeans and a t-shirt on a buffalo, kevlar, or bund strap, to suit and tie with the black croc or bracelet. I'm so glad to have one again!!!
  8. Beautiful watch! I used to have one, swapped the day/date, got AR, then sold it! So stupid, I loved that watch! So I bought one from Concepta with gen movement and have a dial and hands on order for his next round of gen dials and hands. I noticed your second and minute hand aren't bent and they aren't on my new one either...is this a variation in the gen, or are they all bent towards the dial on the gen? My older 3717 had bent hands, that's why I'm asking.
  9. No change here: hoping the strap will break in a bit more, Heroic18 is not Micah when it comes to suppleness, but it's not bad I guess!
  10. SFSO?!? Do I detect some seller's remorse here Frank?
  11. This one is staying on until the weekend...probably through the weekend! The lust stage is wonderful, isn't it?!?
  12. Of course this one...first day on the job
  13. Just got it today...on Heroic18 Crazy Horse:
  14. IWC VCJ Portuguese...can't beat it with a stick for the money! I paid $78.00 each for these from Trevor! Liked it so much I got two!
  15. @Ubi: I totally LOVE your Snowflake Tudor...truly beautiful! Here's mine for today, yesterday, the day before....it just won't come off my wrist!
