  3. Hello all, I have a IWC 3714 rep (updated version with a pressed on bezel, yellow gold hour and minute hands and blue chrono hands) that stopped running after a knock at the doorpost... Otherwise it was one that was reasonably reliable as it was (while using the chrono 4 out of 5 times it had the tendency to stop) I've taken it apart because the second hand catched on the hour hand afterwards and i wanted to graphite the thing. While taking the hands of with my bergeon presto tool the second hand just snapped of with the pinion of the seconds at 6 gear... aargh! To make matters worse the big and small chrono hand came of without the tubes.... what a load of crap Is there anyone that has a preferably complete set of hands the be willing to sell or knows where to get these and a new seconds @6 gear? Riviting the hands back on it's tubes will most definately ruin the finish because they are coated... and without a sec's @6 gear it's stil useless. Kinds regards and thanks in advance!
  4. I have the same problem now, threading on the crown is failing. Now i need a replacement and someone who can deliver the part but i'm curious wheter the treads are inside the ring of the crown or inside the the hub that moves where the winding arbor is joined in.. does anybody know?
  5. it's indeed a gasket for the caseback.
  6. Hello all Does anyone know if a new crystal can be obtained for a BP V1, my new pride and joy had a loose springbar which i found out in not a very nice way ... I'll be very grateful if someone can piont me out in the right direction . A custum built crystal might be an option but i'd expect it to be very expensive.
  7. The movement is stll running strong dispite of al....
