  1. Rep Rolex Sub C LV on eBAY? Rolex experts take a look and chime up....rep? Highly likely with one feedback. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rolex-Submariner-Date-116610LV-Wrist-Watch-for-Men-/162382449600?hash=item25cebf8bc0:g:11kAAOSw4DJYlLhL
  2. Spent many hours on this one. I'm asking the Rolies experts out there. How can I make this JF 1:1 looking any better?
  3. Okay - Not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this as I'm not technically selling anything, just exploring the waters to see if there are any interested parties in taking over my build.. Back in the early summer when the Rolex Tempus Machina Ref 216A build popped up for about $25k (with only 50 being made) I got really excited. This homage to the original 6538 with a gilt dial, red triangle, and no-CG case looks AMAZING. ( www.tempus-machina.com ) I commissioned PBDad to build me a watch to be as close as possible to that creation. He was immediately excited and despite several others showing interest to him, to my knowledge, he's only building mine for now making it the only "rep" that will be out there of this amazing homage. He's been working on it since June 2015 and is likely going to be finished with it within the next 30-90 days. It will be using a BK Sub-C as a base, will feature the same case style as his HS01 Build (No CG, beautiful chamfers etc) and is having a custom one-off gilt dial made with appropriate red-depth rating, a custom one-off domed crystal, and a custom one-off bezel assembly (coin-teeth edge) to go with the custom ceramic insert with red triangle. He charged about $1400 for his HS01 so this is in line with that price given it requires a bit more work. All in all I was quoted $1500-1800 depending on how much these custom parts are going to run me. He's still finalizing the bezel assembly and the dial. I am into the build $900 at this point. I'm posting to see if anyone has interest in assuming my position in it as something has come up and I need to free up the funds. I'll gladly discount the amount I'm in from $900 to $800 to give someone a discount beyond the 7 months I've waited thus far. Someone is going to have an amazing creation this spring. If you have interest in discussing the above, reach out to me via PM and I can provide emails from PBDad showing you where it's at, and a paypal transaction copy to show the funds that have been sent to him thus far. Thanks~
  4. So... What's the consensus? A bit fantasy model? I for one, love the non-cyclops plexi. http://www.puretime.watch/shop/product/vintage-submariner-1680-ss-black-dial-on-ss-bracelet-a2824/
  5. First off I searched around for a while before I purchased this watch. I went through numerous websites and I ended up with Joshua. The reason I chose Joshua is because of his superior customer service skills. Any email he will get back to you within a few hours and the the QC pics is what the product looked like exactly! The detail and feel of the watch is amazing as well. I loved how secure and tightly packed everything was. Make no mistake, if your looking for an amazing Hublot Joshua is your guy. Here's the link to what I purchased: PS You have to be a member of the website to view this product!!!! http://www.p-cls.com/hb00102-bang-sscer-black-p-12165.html
  6. I joined here several months ago because I wanted to buy my husband a seamaster for his 40th birthday and didn't think I could afford a gen one. To cut a long story short, I unexpectedly got some money and found I could stretch to a 2nd hand one, and so he was a very happy man on his birthday. It is beautiful! I adore watches and have enjoyed browsing through the forums and learning about all the gorgeous reps that are out there - it's opened a whole new world to me, I just had to get a top end watch for myself. Unfortunately I couldn't afford a second gen (yet)! The Omega reps for ladies seem to be pretty thin on the ground - I'm not very delicate, so a seamaster suits me a lot more than something "pretty". I also looked at the Tag Link (too cheap!) and the Cartier Santos (too dear!) then toyed with the idea of a 42mm PO but the strap on the 300M is so much nicer and a 42mm would be pretty ostentatious. Then I saw afew weeks back that there are new SMP ladies versions on some TDs sites. Could I find anything more about them here or anywhere else? Nada. I wasn't sure when I looked at the photos on the TD sites. Would it look good? Then I just couldn't help myself and pulled the trigger. The first watch I got QA pics for was pretty bad, it had a very obvious misalignment of the 12 o'clock markers. I'm no expert like some of you guys but I spotted it right away. I was a bit concerned that I'd made an expensive mistake. Then I got a second set of pics - much better! Not perfect, I'm sure, but I'm happy. I don't know the "tells" for this watch so don't burst my bubble too badly! At the end of the day its for wearing for fun, I love the loook of it so I don't mind if some things aren't quite right - I'd never pretend if asked that it was gen. As an added bonus the movement seems to be pretty good, it's a miyota one but seems very accurate so far! The strap was also very easy to resize, i had to take 4 links out I think, but it was done in under 10 minutes, the screws were easy even for a complete novice like me. So, here it is:
  7. Hello Gents, Anyone every have an issue with their PAM 292J black crown tube coming a loose? The watch winds and keeps perfect time however I can no longer screw down the crown(it will not catch the threads). Thanks.
  8. Hi chaps, I'm relatively new to Omegas but have found one that I love and am hoping you might be able to assist me with a few noob questions! I've read through pretty much every related thread so hopefully they won't be too painful. Big thanks to everyone for the info/reviews, particularly Cougar and Khashayar. This will be my first rep. I came to RWG for a Breitling Navitimer but the inaccuracies and the fact that there will be a new model in circa 6 months put me off. The Omega model I'm looking to purchase is this one on Trusty: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_114&products_id=11114 Firstly, is this model the new rep from the noob factory, or the older one from BP just updated with a new strap? I understand the noob one will be of higher accuracy and that there has been a delay in their rep coming out. If this is the BP one, would you advise I wait? This one looks pretty damn good to me! Secondly, is there anything I should keep an eye out for when it comes to QC? I've seen that the pearl being as close to centre as possible in the triangle is something that can vary and also the straightness of the '12' marking. Is there anything else I should ask Andrew to try to avoid for me? I'm a bit of a perfectionist so would like to pick up the best possible version. Thirdly, could anyone advise what the correct box would be for the gen of this model? I'd quite like to pick one up to go with it and found the following two on Trusty. Wooden: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_102&products_id=2056 Leather: http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=35_102&products_id=727 Lastly, it may sound ridiculous but for clarity what is the correct term & acronym for this model? I've seen a large number of acronyms (CrPO, POLM, ti) related and also some numbers, e.g. 300. From what I understand, this model is made from titanium, has a ceramic bezel (on the gen) and is made from titanium - does that make it a POLMCrTi?! Many thanks in advance for the help/patience, much appreciated.
  9. Hello everybody! I am about to buy my first rep but I got this one problem. My wrist is pretty tiny (17cm / approx. 6,7-8inches) and I am affraid that watch such as 44mm HBB would look really silly when sitting on my wrist. You with 44mm HBB's and wrist close to mine, could you please post a wrist shot and help me? Thank you!
  10. I could use some expert advice on removing and replacing the Ceramic Bezel on my 116613 SUB TT with Swiss ETA 2836-2, purchased from Andrew. One of the link screws came out and the watch slid off my wrist and hit the pavement almost flat on the Crystal. Not a scratch other then the Ceramic Bezel Pearl Dot broke off/shattered and a piece of the Bezel came with it. I temporarily glued it back on with a tinny dab of super clue. So I ordered a replacement Bezel from Andrew.....and here I am let me qualify that I love this watch! keeps great time and looks awesome! Need the Help on: 1) Good Procedure for removing the old Bezel. 2) Procedure for Replacing with the new Bezel. Also recommendations for adhesive. I have been reviewing the posts and read where you remove the pearl and use a dental pick to lift off the old Bezel through that opening. Confirmation and or better step procedure would help. I have also seen pictures or reworks where it looks like the Bezel was glued on. I would hate to screw this up - some part of me wants to just purchase the lesser expensive Asian movement equivalent (no offense, I have several others and so does my son) and just swap out the movements which should be straight forward.
  11. Hey, so i thought i would make this a discussion thread on the Omega SMP-C BLUE and BLACK, mainly the blue. Where one can share pictures, information and tips and tricks about the SMP-C. I've been told there will be a SMP-C in Blue with an actual cermaic bezel comming, i.e further information about that would be interesting. Furthermore it can be a thread to ask questions and share modding tips for the beautiful SMP-C. Picture credit: Hobsong1
  12. Hey guys, I just bought myself my first replica, having a respectable collection of genuine Rolex & Breitling watches. More or less a try-out of the watch, trying to see if it's a design I'd like to live with, before spending €18,000 on one. I bought if from Trusty and it's his HBB 0239 watch, (Big Bang Rose Gold Ceramic Black A-7750). I believe it's the new v6 version, correct me if I'm wrong ( http://www.ttw888.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_280&products_id=9455 ). QR pics: http://imgur.com/a/erIzf . It's one of those "Made with genuine fully dissected - 1:1 replication" reps. I'm actually impressed with it, there are only very minor twirks that would make you understand it's a replica, and that, only in good light situations and probably only comparing it with the original. I have to state that the bezel does not have a blue tint, it's actually super clear. I assume they are now sourcing different crystals, so possibly ,every v6 made from now on will have such a good glass. I got a friend that has a Hublot Aero Bang, he did check out the watch from the back as well, and he didn't even ask if it's a rep. Although I have to say this was done in a night club with bad lighting and the guy was not wearing his Hublot at the time. This is such a good rep that makes the genuine watch price look silly, at least to people having no idea about quality watches. In case the following can be corrected or modded out, I guess this rep is a winner: 1) The top ("ceramic") part of the case has the side-teeth 'pattern' completely wrong. The V1 case has this pattern almost spot on. Does anyone know if this model's top part can be replaced with a V1 top case, provided that this can be sourced out? Has anyone done this? 2) The buttons and crown feel really cheap to fiddle with, at least compared to my other automatic watches. I have no experience on a real Hublot to compare though, so that might be OK. I guess the movement has to be replaced in order for that to change. 3) The movement looks quite convincing if you don't have a good memory and remember the exact dimensions and relative sizes of parts and gears. The 'HUBLOT GENEVE' writing on the winder is not engraved though. I think I've seen a HBB rep version where the winder's font was closer to the original and it was engraved, although it did need a bit of sanding down to really look the part. I can't find the thread right now though. 4) The strap will obviously be replaced, although I have no idea where to look into first. I would buy the original strap and locking mechanism in case they are worth it. 5) Is it me, or is the date window a tad off by almost half a mm? I guess this is the best that can be done on an asian 7750 Vaijoux though. In case someone has bought the new v6 from any trusted dealer and has experience with reps and mods, I guess his input in this thread would be greatly appreciated. Let's start making this version of v6 the new v1 P.S. Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics, if anyone wants DSLR pics under good lighting of the watch it's really easy for me to do.
  13. Hello All! I am extremely new to this but I am a huge fan of the Rolex Submariner with Black Dial Ceramic Bezel. I am reading these posts and have no idea what BP and Noob mean. . . I am trying to find the best Replica out there..Correct bezel, Face Font, Chromolite Lume, Aligned Pearl, AR Crystal, 2.5X cyclops, date font, Correct bracelet with glidelock clasp and markings, best size and weight, and of course movement.. Which should I buy and who should I buy it from?? I've been looking at Trusty Time's website...Does he sell the best? Let me know! All your help is huge, and if any of you have pics that would be great.
  14. Hi all, After getting my 42mm cheapie pumpkin I've fallen in love with it and decided to get a decent version of it's 45mm bigger brother. Having a look around I see that there seem to be two versions. One version has small square lume markers at 12/3/6/9, "Seamaster" is in red (orange) writing and the hour and minute hands are fatter (and uglier). The other version has semi-triangular lume markers at 12/3/6/8, "Seamaster" is in white, and the hour and minute hands are slimmer and better proportioned. So I had a look at pictures of gens and they match the second one (semi-triangular markers). But the first one (seems to be the ceramic version) seems to be the "latest" model? Are they both correct and copying slightly different versions of gen Omega POs? I must say that the fat, ugly hands just scream "cheap" to me, as do the "not quite right" square markers, so either way I'm going with the second version Puretime has it for $238 with an Asian 2824, or $388 with a Selita SW200. Andrew has it for $318 with an ETA 2824-2, everything else seems to be identical. Does the Selita movement come assembled in a proper factory? I.e. it will not need sending off for servicing immediately? I know the chances of the ETA being NOS and being nice and clean and lubed will be slim, so I'm tempted to go for the Selita SW200. Any advice or feedback on the Selita movement appreciated!
  15. First off, thanks tony and thanks ALE!! (Asian7750 under the TD's at RWI) (ALE7575 from the official hublot Big Bang on RWI: http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/official-thread-hbb-82678.html)For the speedy and efficient delivery and replies @ tony and the great help and patience provided by ale who replied to all of my posts on the thread and many others too!! A review of my dealing with tony can be found here! (http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/hublot-big-bang-141911.html) I would recommend him to anyone and everyone since he has great prices and great service! This is my first 'review' and purchase so it'll be of a certain mediocre standard haha. My pictures are not the best but here goes! It looks gorgeous in my opinion. For those who said the bezel is not shiny, it SPARKLES! Just like the gen. And the stopwatch is perfect, played around with it a bit hahaha yes I know I shouldn't but I was excited. :hehehe: the dial looks scarily identical to the gen and all in all I'm very pleased with the v6!! It's an amazing watch and my marker at 6 is not off as a lot of people have claimed. Heck I told people who asked if it was fake, "yup" and they didn't even believe me! One of my friends is a watch enthusiast too haha, well my gain! The following photos were taken with my ipad and on my dining table/wrist so sorry if they aren't great! The couple of gripes that I have with respect to the watch is that firstly the red of the seconds hand on the chronograph is not as red as the gen! Secondly, the clasp is a but sharp which can hurt after long periods of wearing it or short periods if you wear it very tightly. Lastly, it's not a problem with the face, it's with the strap. As you can see, it sticks out in the photos and is quite ugly because of that. As such I'm purchasing an all black strap from Eric of hamiltonleathers who will make it for me in a week, I shall post photos when I receive them! That's all for now! do ask me any questions!
  16. Hello Gents, Here are a few quick pics of my 42mm Ceramic Cobalt Blue Rolex Submariner. I own a gen Sub and when I ask people which one is gen they always pics the 42mm! Of course they're just your average person. We all know Rolex never made a 42mm sub or did they ???LOL Well enjoy the pics!
  17. Like the title says if you have any please post your pics here, the paint fading seems to be the biggest issue with the insert followed by scratches on some too so we are trying to find out if we can either fix the problem with a mod or offer up a fix to the supplier Post your pics/advice please gents
  18. Hello guys, I'd like to begin by introducing myself. I'm a watch lover, have owned a few gens (mostly Cartier) over the years, a newbie to the rep world, but am very intrigued by the quality of today's reps compared to gens. *Lengthy story below, bear with me* Here my first journey in this hobby begins: After closely examining and really studying up on good reps, trusted dealers, etc. I decided to make my first rep purchase from Trusty Time. I ordered a Hublot Ice Bang (I believe it was a V6 *noobie alert* with the platinum plated bridges and all) about a month ago now. About two or three days after ordering Andrew contacted me and let me know about the current situation with the factories, and the raids that seem to be plaguing them. He told me the Hublot factory was closed due to these raids and it could take 3-4 weeks for them to get my watch in stock and ready to ship. I told him this was no problem, I could wait. In the meantime, I had been looking at some PAMs and had read that the 111 M from Noob was a pretty good rep so I decided that while I waited for the Ice Bang I would order one of these to entertain myself with. Andrew confirmed it was in stock and a week after the order was placed he sent me QC pics, which I glanced over (noobie mistake) and approved, and then he sent it out. After waiting another two weeks for the delivery to arrive (held up an entire week in customs), I got the watch and absolutely loved it. However, upon further inspection I noticed that it was not an M Series like I had ordered, it was apparently an N, or so the case back reads. I loved the watch anyways, so despite having been sent the wrong Series (partly my fault, didn't notice the N serial in the QC pics) this didn't bother me much. I had read the Ns from Noob were great as well (perhaps better?). Anyways, having learned my lesson I decided that when the QC pics for the Ice Bang arrived I'd inspect them more carefully. They arrived a few hours ago, and I immediately noticed that the strap that it featured in the pics (gummy aligator) was not the one I'd asked for (I wanted the smooth rubber one) so no biggie, I informed Andrew and he said he'd change it. But then I noticed something that worried me. Now, remember I am very new to this so I may be terribly wrong about this but, I noticed that the ceramic case had a matte finish to it on the watch in the QC pics. Now to my understanding, the gen Ice Bang (numerals), be it with the tantalum or tungsten bezel has a kinda shiny/brushed black ceramic case, while the Ice Bang Evolution (stick markers) has the black matte case (like the All Black II). So I believe what I was looking at was kinda a rep hybrid featuring the Dial from the average Ice Bang (with numerals) inside the ceramic case of the Ice Bang Evolution (who's dial is supposed to be stick markers instead of numerals). Needless to say I informed Andrew. He then insisted that the case was correct, even after I sent him a stock QC picture from his website which I believe contradicted this. He then said that, that was the last watch left, that the factory had recently reopened for a couple of days and had been shut down again due to the raids, possibly for another two weeks. He said if I didn't want the watch he would offer me a refund. I took the refund. I may be new at this but my gut and a bit of research led me to believe that the watch wasn't right, not even in rep standards. I am awaiting the refund but I know Andrew is good for it. Well, now that I've told my story, my questions to the seasoned veterans on this board are as follows: 1. What do you make of the mix up with the PAM? 2. What do you think of the issue with the Hublot Ice Bang? 3. How much do you think the raids, lack of stock, etc. influenced the situation with both orders? 4. And most importantly, what trusted dealer can send me a proper Ice Bang V6 now? I've been looking forward to this watch for a month and am now completely lost as to how to get my hands on one.
  19. So I was given this Deep Sea as a gift by a friends who travels a lot over seas. I've had this for about a year and would like your opinion on this guy because I have been debating with my friend on whether bringing it back himself was worth the risk. I thought it looked good, but then again I am no expert. It does have good a rep helium valve, but I did not take a pic. Any help on the quality would be great. Thanks in advance!!
