  1. Do you remember these dials? Those were fitted to the first cartel Daytona reps, sold in the years 2007/2008. They featured large cases with 20mm end links bracelets. Well, those dials were pretty nice: nicer than any other version they did after as a matter of fact !!!! The dial was shaved smaller, stripped and revarnished. New index were installed, a genuine coronet, a correct relume. Swiss made subdial hands, a new generation cartel case with assymetrical pushers totally reshaped, an athaya crown, gen T21 crystal, Vietnam Bezel, long tips spring bars and genuine bracelet. It's now looking more than half decent !!!
  2. One more DW 7753 dial modified here.... Nothing much done on the case except a slight reshaping and a 702 installed. All the work done is on the dial really ! I still need to change that ugly crystal and fit a beveled one and I'll be done ! That is the real problem with DW based Daytonas : they are too cheap !!!! So you won't stop till you have them all !!! By the way, this dial too I got it thanks to Davids100... I can't thank you enough mate !
  3. First of all about that build : A BIG THANKS TO DAVIDS100 WHO HELPED ME TO GET THAT DIAL !!!!!! Without you my friend, that case would still be sitting in a box !!!! We all find DW standard dials plates have a major issue : the position of the index too far inside touching the subdials... Well, why not simply move them ? I did it here, and it looks much better !!!! Simply chop the feet, polish the base of the index and carefully glue them at a better position ! Aside from that, I modified that case to a tonneau shape, with the sunburst finished 300 bezel and the round brushed back case often made by some Rolex USA service centers since the watch is fitted with a Rolex USA bracelet.
  4. Hi folks, I just wanted to share this. I visited Domi last week and I bought from him his new Daytona project It is 6263 Paul Newman - Swiss 7750 modified to 727 - Gen Pushers - Plexi Glass made in Germany (excellent quality) A beautiful watch and I'm very happy with it.
  5. Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me where the best place to get a Replica Rolex Daytona? How much should I be paying and how easy are they to get into the UK? Also, how convincing are they? Cheers
  6. This is to answer the earlier post about the subdial spacing difference between v72 (gen or gen like) and v7750. It's too small to be seen at the first glance for most people, so here is an overlay of the v 72 and the v7750 for everyone to really see what difference there is. The v72 is genuine, the v7750 is Wong's new batch. Hope that helps !!!
