I've been doing this for two reasons, partly because I want to demonstrate that the iPhone has a crappy camera and partly because I wanted the discipline of having to take at least one photo every day. However, with the right conditions and a little luck/effort, you can take some ok pictures with it. Nanuq Posted August 18, 2009 Report Share Posted August 18, 2009 There are some apps now that let you zoom, and one that uses the accelerometer so it waits till you're still enough to take the shot. Not too bad, but yeah ... it takes lousy photos. I took this one with the iPhone, it was blowing a gale and still it came out okay. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'd say the iphone photos are much better, but the comparison probably isn't very good since I think I'm fully zoomed in all three of these pics. I think the aperture gets really small at full zoom..
