couple of questions...

1. what grain of paper did you use to sand?

2. once the sanding was complete what products did you use to give the finished look?

Sorry man... I don't remember the grains. But at first I used some rough sandpaper to remove the metal faster, then of course changed to smoother one when the cg's started to look more like they should.

Then I used abrasive metal polishing paste (got it from a watch shop) to give it the mirror finish. I think Cape Cod could work with this too... I don't know, never tried.

A "bump" from 10 years ago. 

 

Pictures back up for this old writeup too.

 

Back then Tudor Subs were $1500 in the preowned gen market. How times have changed...
