iPhone 4 Macro Photography

Recommended Posts

I'd been considering buying a macro lens for my Nikon for some time, I think I am going to pass after trying this. I just took a 3.5x watch Loupe and held it against the iPhone 4 lens and viola, instant macro lens. I think I am going to be ordering some higher powered loupes to try this out.

The Tools:

No Macro (This is as close as I could get with out the loupe - and it's still a little blurry)

Holding the Loupe to the iPhone lens:

With a loupe on my, 3gs I get the port view.

I have my loupe flat against the phone and taped.

I'm using the same type of black plastic loupe, but 4x.

On your 4 it works perfect. I wonder what the deal is?

Maybe it 3 verses 4?

I just preordered the 4gs and it will be here next week. :)

Flip the loupe around - open end away from the iPhone...should solve your problem!

Just get one of these ;)The iPhone SLR Mount Kit

That's awesome!
