musicale
Nice. I didn't realise the mesh band was in links / segments.
colinmgzt
Nice. I didn't realise the mesh band was in links / segments. only for 4 links from the clasp to allow for sizing, rest is flexible mesh. no wories about strands of wire poking out or anything like that, very well constructed. easy to adjust. one screw only on the 3 0`clock side, remove link and reinsert screw, brilliant! vmena
I don't like this band at all... not for a sporty watch...
Seadweller4000
It reminds me somehow of the old doxa-bracelets and the 1960/70 divers... Therefore I like it!
By-Tor
A bit of Omega on that bracelet too...
Seadweller4000
A bit of Omega on that bracelet too... Sweeeet! As I said, I LOVE those vintage divers! Look always beautiful, maybe that's why I like the Heritage so much!
chris5264
I'm planning on doing a review on this one but it will probably focus on the overall quality and not so much if it matches the gen. I'm not sure why, I haven't picked up a rep in a long time but this one did it for me,,so we'll see.
buckeye
Chris: Same for me..the last watch I bought was your Corum Admiral's Cup...which is still going/looking great. I'm going to wait for your review (and maybe any indication that you're getting tired of it!)....BTW, I have a 24/20 black rubber diver's strap I'll lend you if you're interested.... Are you as cold as me? Jeff
Seadweller4000
Okay, I placed my order. Will make a large review as soon as it gets here... Then we will know more.
coolfire
Okay, I placed my order. Will make a large review as soon as it gets here... Then we will know more. Great! I always look forward to your reviews, mate...
Willith
I think lots here will greatly appreciate if you could post pics of your gen, mate... Here are a couple, I suck at taking pictures, so they probably will hurt more than help. I already gave some pictures to another member, so he could use them in his review. Watchmeister
Willith- That is one beautiful watch. Wear it well.
coolfire
Utterly speechless, Willith... Appreciate your lightning response... What a beauty!
Willith
Thanks for the nice comments. It's a really nice watch, I don't see me selling this one off any time soon.
casanile
That's the one I was waiting for. I'm sure that most of the Breitling fans don't like it. Too simple, too submariner but a big sub... I like it with the rubber band. I'm ready to pull the trigger... Damn... I would never have found this site, now I am sure that I'm really an addict.... silix
As I promised, I go tthe genuine Heritag efrom the watchmaker, after I promised him that I would not scratch or dent his watch. I took some pics with the gen side by side with the rep. To me, the biggest difference is the datefont, especially 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Other differences are small, not that visible. And to my suprise, the color is almost spot on, most of us, including, before seeing the gen, thought the brwon was way off. But now the fact is here. I will pass on my findings and opinions I got from here to the watchmaker, and hope he will make some improvements on his later batches. Looks like the watchmaker has done good work. The crown seems to be well replicated. Interesting style, a nice break from the usual sport diver watches! andreww
Not bad, aside from the date font the size of the "SuperOcean" and "Automatic" seem a little off. On the gen the "P" in SuperOcean touches the "A" in Automatic. On the rep the "P" touches the "U". Minor stuff, and a good first effort! FxrAndy
Well Spotted Andreww, still looks a decent copy though, any chance of some interior shots of these Jay?
b16a2
Looks good. Would only be able to tell the rep from the gen when being compared next to the gen. The flaws are pretty minimal!
woody
I see both Josh and Andrew are both looking into this post. Do they care to comment?
KB
The date font seems different too but again minor stuff. Ken
