I just kinda hang out in the corner with my plate full of lobster tails hoping that someone will ask me to dance. I'm sure that I'll fit in eventually. HEY RobbieG! You should TOTALLY come join me in there. That way we'll each have someone to talk to. I'm TRYING to work up the nerve to talk to "kenberg" but he's sort of intimidating. Spidey7 Posted January 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 3, 2009 They just ran out of Beluga and Melot over in the Platinum lounge and OffShore is still struggling with a wine cask trying to knock open the Bung-Hole (hee-hee-hee) so I though I'd drop in and see what's goin' on here on this side of the tracks. I'm telling you guys, you haven't tasted ANYTHING until you've had a little of "Admin's" Cherry Sausage Remoulade, (He tells me the secret is to use REAL pineapple juice). I feel like a kid in a candy store (a candy store FULL of watches!!). I ALMOST got taken in by a site called "IdealWatches". They told me I could order C.O.D. and examine the merchandise before I paid, but then the carrier told me that this was not possible. I did a little research, and found YOU guys, and boy am I grateful!!! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Not only did you save me from being taken advantage of, but this stuff is INCREDIBLE!!!! Way better than anything I've seen anywhere else. Plus the whole vibe on the board seems friendly and welcoming. I will try not to ask any stupid n00b questions, but no promises So anyway, soooooooooo glad to finally be here. I WOULD be upset that I hadn't found it earlier, but then I wouldn't have been able to find the BEAUTIFUL WM9 that I'm drooling over! Happy New Years everyone. Shundi keeps giving me head noogies while kenberg holds my hands behind my back. I even gave them my lunch money and everything. fotoman Posted January 13, 2009 Report Share Posted January 13, 2009 buy the way, as i am sure your learning 99% of us can't afford a case full of reps 99% of us don't have a great camera 99% of us can't manipulate small tools yet most find a way to help out and be a part of the group. Even if its sometimes just creating some action on teh boards, i used to post alot more on non watch issues when i first started - now, i just have less time. also, we all started somewhere, this was my collection of watches 3 months into RWG. 5 reps, 4 of which were rwg reps, the quartz breitling was pre rwg compare that to my signature 3 and a half years later aand up until 2 weeks ago all my photos were done with a point and shoot canon, and alight box i made for less than 17 dollars Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
