So I was thinking the other day.... Why in heaven's name hasn't China cloned an old school Pavoni manual espresso machine? They have successfully cloned many other simple machines that have been around a long time and seeing that broken old Pavoni's are 600 dollars..... why the hell have they not thought of this yet? China usually loves to clone simple machines. For example, they have a perfect clone of the old small centrifugal casting machines that dentists use to use and that jewelers use as well. I own one of them and it works just as good as the original ones that came from Buffalo New York 40 years ago. The point is... of all the factories in China, how in the world has one of them not thought of cloning some bad ass old Pavoni manual lever espresso machines?

After a couple of great Dutch/Belgium GTG's it's time for another GTG! Sunday April 22th 2018 This time we planned it a bit different as before. We are going to split up the GTG in two parts. Part 1: For those who are interested in the watchfair they can go to the fair in the morning. Part 2: For those who want to skip the fair and meet us the lunchroom for some drinks, they are welcome over there*. Starting time around 14:00. This way the members who want to visit the watchfair have anough time to see everything. * We communicate the location of the lunchroom to those who join us, for safety reasons. OMG! I’ve never seen such a horrible representative concoction. It looks like someone cut out watch parts from a magazine and put them together. Could it pass for brilliant naive art, or a child’s piece of collage making from grade two? Or maybe Peter Gabriel is selling it.

I agree but we are showing our age in the hobby, most denote factory/maker and if you are keeping abreast of newest models and their faults/pluses they mean something.

Thank you, yours is not so bad either Same specs nearly. Reworked Cartel case and bezel by a vintage master. Gen Dial, Insert, plexi and crown. Yuki 7206 modded bracelet with a gen clasp. Low beat ETA. It was tripdog's personal 5513. Here she is again. It is probably my favourite watch.
