  1. Yes. Game over for me. These projects were started in 2005 and have now 12 years in the making. Results can't get better than this. Investments were serious in time, sourcing, mod and a gathering of skills, not only mine (thank you Stephan, thank you Gordon, thank you Ross). 6152, with old eb. Cortebert / Rolex, cal. 618 (among other special features as a 1/1 double bezel custom made etc..) 3646, with old eb. Cortebert / Rolex, cal. 616 2533, Idem Photos are crappy, but I am not very good at it. After all these years the irony is, I find each one of them huge and less and less wrist time. I am considering to let go of the 3646 for a grail vintage Phong Blancpain FF no rad dial. In the meantime enjoy and Merry Christmas to all. A big cheers to all the mod pioneers that shared along the way and to the friends I made here from 2004 on.

  5. @cfpecks, If you are a member of the vintage watch forum, you need to post this on that forum as well. As long as this little ass hole is not called out for what he is, a common thief, he is going to continue to steal folks money and watches. And a bit of advice to you from a very old and experienced watch collector, “if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true”. Any experienced watch person will tell you that no “real” watch smith is going to work on 5 watches for 165.00 USD, unless it’s something extremely simple like adjusting or changing bands, or possibly pressure tests, etc. certainly not anything that requires opening the watch and parts. I feel for your plight. That little thief took me for over a thousand dollars worth of watches and parts. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  7. Okay. So when I got home I set the time , wound it and dropped it into the case. Ans it looks pretty damn good. Not the best pics but I’m happy. [emoji16][emoji16] This thing was hella work. And fidgeting and tweeking but she’s dialled in now and once I get the keyless fixed I can button it up and stop obsessing over it cause this is as close as I possibly can get with what I got. I call that success. [emoji482] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
