  1. @watcher: Oh yes I do. I also have gen 16610 but I still wear my WM9 occasionally haha. You delivered me the watch and bklm1234 gave me the gen insert and crown for it as a wedding gift. I will never part with it because of that. The only way to tell the gen and rep apart is the crown position and bracelet (it's always a bit different on the rep). This photo is probably before the mods. Merry Christmas my friend.

  2. Eurotimez watch has differences from Wm9 from my memory. They all came out of Taiwan in the beginning. Wm9 V1 as above V2 had ladies movement fitted V3 was when the LV and TT versions were launched but had the poor cg’s where the crown was too recessed. V4 improved and was the model used for the early TC template and when George of Watchmaker9 apparently died in a high speed crash! Sometime in 2012. @By-tor. Have you still got your V2 my old friend? 6. Hi guys, Eversince I got some Tudor reps I am amazed by the overall quality. Somehow it seems they are made so well compared to other reps. The newly launched black Bay gmt caught my eye and so i ordered myself a NICE Christmas present. lucky me it also arrived before the holidays. Thanx again for the fast shipping and smooth transaction Andrew! The case: The watch measures 41mm in diameter. The 316L SS case has a really good looking nice matte/satin finish to it which comes with beautifull beveled edges. The nicely decorated crown has no crown guards on this modell. The matte finish of the case and bracelet seems to hide scratches really well also. The caseback has a nicely brushed effect on it, just like the clasp etc. VERY crisp engravings btw, ZF did a great job with that! Compared to the many subs I own, it seems this Tudor wears a little bit bigger but I don't mind that at all. The Dial: I have to admit It is difficult to look at this watch without comparing it to Rolex, I had to teach myself this is NOT a rolex but a brand on his own with a wink to Rolex, but they are family as we all know. The BB has round hour markers. The dial has a matte finish which I find to be just pure watch porn. I always like matte finished dials especially when sunlight hits the dial (see pics below). The dial printing is (just like all the engravings) very crisp... kudos! The lume on this black boy is incredibly strong. Personally I also like the missing magnifier on the date, it makes the watch looks more clean but perhaps also a bit bigger. The datewheel: All seems nicely centered. The Bezel: One of the first things I noticed is the firm grip you have on the uni directional bezel. The color also seems same as per Gen. No fingers sliding over the bezel trying to turn it, the small groves/cut outs give you a perfect strong grip. Tudor does not work with a pearl because they simply say it will fall off as many Rollie owners can confirm . The bezel rotates smooth with very firm loud and crisp clicks with, absolutely no wiggling or whatsoever. Chrystal: The domed shaped chrystal is gorgeous, it pops out a bit like the Rolex seadweller. The main difference is that is has a bevelled edge which I think I more nicer. It plays with the light, i love it. Also the applied AR is very good. The Bracelet and clasp:The rivet bracelet really looks bada$$, again probably mostly due to the matte satin finish and especially due to the visable pins on the side. It wears smooth and very very comfortable (I gave it an oil bath also). The design of the clasp on this bracelet makes it even more special. The clasp opens and closes very slick and firm. Again, the inscriptions are very crisp! ***My conclussion: A very high-end REP, worth every dollar, guaranteed!*** Some specs from Trustytime: ZF Factory Tudor Black Bay GMT Basel 2018 Ultimate Edition MOVEMENT: Nickel Plated Asia Eta 2836-2 Automatic Movement, 25J, 28800bph with Functional GMT Hand CASE DIAMETER: 41mm (Same Specs as Genuine) THICKNESS: 14.5mm DIAL COLOR: Black Dial with Superlumed Round Markers (Swiss Grade Superlume applied) CASE MATERIAL: Solid Stainless Steel 316L BRACELET: Special Rivet Bracelet in Solid Stainless Steel 316L with Deployant buckle FRONT GLASS: Dome Shaped Sapphire Crystal with Colorless Double AR Coating (Swiss Grade) CASE BACK: Solid case back with detailed engraving BEZEL: Uni-directional Diver Bezel, Anti-Clockwise (Dark Blue/Red Bezel) - Same color tone as Genuine HACK MOVEMENT: Yes CLASP TYPE: Deployant Buckle DATE INDICATOR: At 3:00 Position (Adjusted via Crown) Waterproofed to 30m direct from Factory Enjoy the pics people. 7. Around the same time as the WM9-V1, there was this MBW which I got from Chris at Eurotimez. It had drilled lugholes and I converted the bezel assembly to gen like construction with some gen and aftermarket parts. Lastly I ditched the noobmariner dial and hands and swapped in WM9 dial and hands. Oh, gen crown and tube and a TC 93250 completed the deal. It goes swimming regularly. Drilled out the lugholes also.

  8. This was Sub 16610 WM1. The first Sub that really, really was the SHIT. In the second picture it's next to my gen GMT again and you see why this was a remarkable rep. It mimicked the genuine looking crystal / rehaut look very well. I loved the V1.

  9. I'm in various gen communities so I don't feel like posting my gen pics here. But let's share more of these rep ones. I also had a correct hand stack version of this. Then I bought the gen and sold all these reps. Who remembers buying these from me and are they still running? I sold this to someone.

  10. Oh I remember you. Cheers man. I was away for years. Now I try to pop up every now and then. Let's put more pictures. This was the freakiest rep I've ever had. Not very accurate as the subdial spacing can't mimic the Breguet movement they use in BTR's but the build quality was amazing. I loved the rep so much that I bought a gen of this too.

  12. I love the mesh strap on that, that specific model is beautiful too. I have a gen Omega that is all scratched up from before I started caring about my watches and these pictures make me wish I took better care of it.

  13. Watch oil evaporates and turns to gum/sludge over time, regardless of how little you use the watch. And there is really no such thing as a watch movement breaking irreparably .. it's made of parts, and parts can be replaced.

  14. I have been thinking about the need to service my reps. If I had only one, and used it every day, then the decision to service it regularly would be pretty straightforward. However, I have 10 or so reps that I am wearing more or less the same amount of time, so all of them are running less than 40 hours every 10 days, or about 1/5 of time. Since most are unserviced, let's assume that all of them are in "can break at any time" state. Also, let's assume that a movement in this state will break irrepairably (need to completely replace it) after 3 years of running all the time, on average. Now, my reps are running only 1/5 of time, so they will accumulate 3 years of running and break, on average, only after 15 years in this state. And after such long time, I will probably not care about most of these watches to have them repaired. And save one or two thousand EUR in service costs over that time... Does this logic make sense (both, umm, mechanically and financially)?
