    MKII Seafighter

    Compare with

    BLANCPAIN

"The third Blancpain combat divers watch (6645-12-171-4162)which has the asymmetric and screwed crown at 4. The movement is a 24jewd, cal. CD 2873 of ETA, with date indication. Some characteristics: the crown position, the black bezel with one single fluorescent mark and the red minute hand. The bezel does not turn clockwise. The watch has the red mark for radioactivity, 3H in a red circle, that indicates the tritium layer of fluorescent digits and hands". from http://www.fiftyfathoms.net/FiftyFathoms/FiftyFathoms.html

  2. You have to understand the culture. Most Filipinos are devout Roman Catholics and as a devout Catholic that's your job spreading the faith. Like everything else in the world you can ignore whats being said or not. Btw not all religious people are out for money and you shouldn't feel obligated and I dont think you have to worry Ive never known the Catholic church to solicit for donations so I think you'll be ok.

  3. For those on the fence about the FF95 because of the crown, take a look at this

It seems there were so many models made any combination would be acceptable.

    What are you waiting for.

By the way I scratched my watch face really bad today on the door. Rubbed some toothpaste on it and wiped it off good as new. If I do modify this thing it will be to put in a cambered scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Will still retain the look of the plastic but will be sapphire so I can leave the toothpaste alone

    Love this watch

  4. adding a webpic from decowatch for comparison

Guys I received my DSN FF95 in two days flat fastest ever. Not only that this watch is worth every penny if you only buy one watch this year this is it. I cant rave enough about this thing. Ill do an in depth review later because its late but Im attaching photos. One of the things that impresses me most is the lume on this thing looks like 3D and the accuracy is astonishing (see the rep compared to the original in my book in the photo) the crown is off but so what I like this better than my UPO and that says alot. Get the watch you wont be disappointed.

  6. Ok guys need your help,

I know this is a common problem and Ive seen all sorts of answers to this problem but they all seem to contradict one another couple of questions though for the experts since i cant screw in the crown

    1. Is the problem the crown which has stripped threads or the tube that sticks out of the case?

    2. If its the tube then you only need to purchase the tube and not the crown right and then you have to tap out the other tube which is attached to the case

    what do the experts think

  7. Just received a reply that i didnt like regarding obtaining another crown. Guess I'll have to buy a gen crown and tube and have it tapped. I'm tired of paying over three hundred USD for a "quality" rep only to have them keep falling apart. This really pisses me off. I should just buy a Timex. cheaper in every sense but at least its reliable and I can swim with the GD thing.

  8. in Ufantas defense I purchased a Pane 111h from him and it has the canon pinion and a thicker crown to boot. Was in a AD 2 days ago saw the same one with brown band and all . A co-worker that was with me said wow thats the same watch . I held it up against the glass and you couldn't really tell a difference. Some of his stuff may be out there but some of his other stuff is better than what we get from our fav dealers. Regards
