  1. I received my black 42 PO (ETA movement) from Andrew this week - it is stunning! Andrew is right, the AR is an awesome effect on the watch. This is my 4th Omega and it is without a doubt the nicest.
  2. @amk000 Try it again...it hasn't been working for me either, but it is now working...at least it was about 5 minutes ago when I tried.
  3. I too have a 45 hour power reserve. Would you mind providing a step by step walk through on how to correct it?
  4. I just read through a bunch of The Zigmeister's informational posts he put up today - holy [censored]! I've learned more about watches, and quite literally what makes them tic, in the last 60 minutes than I thought I would ever know...unbelievable stuff. Excellent write ups, excellent photos (I love your new CAD machine ), just all around excellent stuff! Thank you for taking the time to educate the ignorant masses...I was leading that parade, but with my new found knowledge, I can step back and let someone else carry the torch for the ignorant masses! Two thumbs up!
  5. Thanks everyone for the tips. As many have recommended, I've been watching ebay...but would feel more comfortable if some of the guessing was taken from the equation. I've learned alot about Omega's from frequenting these sites, but I'm not certain I can spot a fake 100% of the time...thus I'm a bit leary of the bay! I think I'll watch TZ and watchseller (thanks for the suggestions) and see what I can find. Many have asked, which model...I love a lot of them so it is hard for me to say which one - I'll likely purchase the best value I can find. With that said, I'm fairly interested in some of the vintage seamasters. I think it would be awesome to own an old a seamaster produced in the 50-60's. Thanks again for the tips.
  6. I'm thinking about adding a Gen Omega to the collection and will look for a used one first. I know that someone mentioned a good source previously, but I can't seem to locate the post regarding this...so, thus the question - does anyone have a good source for used Omega's?
  7. It seems familiar, yet all new! Well done guys.
