  1. I'm thinking about buying another sub- I've not seen the serial number yet- but was told it's around an 8MM- It's got a sapphire crystal, but is not a 16610. It's got a regular 16610 dial. I don't have service history, but is is safe to bet that it's just a late model 1680 that was serviced and had a new dial and crystal? This should be a 3035 if it's a 16800, right?

  2. I'm finally getting around to building a TT datejust franken. I need a few parts to complete the movement. I'm using a 2892, but need:

    CP h.3

    HW h.3

    4th Wheel h.3

    2834-2 date disc

and- I think I also need 2834-2 case clamps and screws- this is the parts list that Stilty recommended too complete the project.

Does anybody have some of these, or all of these parts in the 'ol parts box? PP ready!

  3. so very thankful for the well wishes and prayers. I personally have a deep faith in my God and am resting in His faithfulness to me.

Spent the night last nigth with my three other kids- all were hurting for their sister. Rough night for Ella, very high temp, over 104 most of the night, long night for my wife at the hospital. Will update as new information is available.

    thannk you.

  4. If you do; please pray for my daughter. Ella is a beautiful 7 month old and was admitted to the hospital with 3rd degree burns over 22% of her body. She's in a lot of pain. Expected to live, but it's going to be several weeks in the hospital.

  5. I'm joining the vintage club. Haven't received it yet- but needless to say- I can't wait! The modder did an amazing job- I think the CG's look really good. Rundown on parts: MBW case-set, Yuki insert with genuine pearl, genuine crown, genuine tropic. Dial is a singer, hands are standard rep and the spring bars are gen. Powered by a slow beat ETA.

I'm trolling for an MBW hollow link bracelet and have a gen clasp to complete the watch. The work was done by one of our own- I think he's done amazing work. I could not be happier.

Parts came from a couple of members- Polex Pete and Too Much Gear- thanks guys for helping to put this together. I'm thinking that I need to age the second hand- the dial and hour hands are perfectly matched- any ideas on how to age the second hand slightly?

    ok- here's the pics.
