  1. Safari Still available?

  2. Same Question - my subscription has not renewed since September
  3. Look at the pushers - rep Look at the dial - no silver outline AND the subdials lack the concentric circle texture... It's a rep. I reported it also.
  4. The upside to all this may be that new 'fixes' are coming-out. Maybe overly optimistic - maybe not. We've seen some nice incremental changes over the last couple of years.
  5. I beg to differ - I have purchased several watches from both Angus and Trusty 'serviced' One, my Silver Themes - is the only one of 5 secs@12 aps that isn't in need of service -the others were not purchased 'serviced'. Another, a V1 T3 was purchased serviced - I dropped it and the cyclops fell out so, I sent it to Speedy and told him to service it if it needed it- He replied that is was clean and lubed. Still runs great. Angus has added a watchmaker so his serviced watches will be available more quickly. Still. I would send it to a trusted resource for service after a year or so. 7750s - I've decided to get rid of most of mine - they're just another "mouth to feed". I'm going to keep one Safari, the Silver themes and my Santos 7753 Swiss. At some point, I may add a 3717 w/Swiss mvment. Simple is good. (PAMs 6497 Unitas, WM9Rolex/Jumbo etc). Afterthought - I do have an HBB PlatMat that I will keep/mod - I believe it's a 7750. Though simple is good, I do like Chronos.... :-)
  6. They are as reliable as any rep assuming that they were correctly assembled at the factory and SERVICED. Servicing these watches is not an option but a necessity. I'm wearing a 3 year old Silver Themes that was serviced at purchase and again a few months ago - it keeps accurate time - to within 15 secs a day. Next time I send it in, I will have it regulated as well. Service at least $200 from my experience.
  7. Thank you for taking the time to find out what you did. I had wondered why George just 'disappeared' though now, it seems reasonable that George must have died. I have emails from him up until early 2010. Then, I didn't have any reason to email. I had my WM9 Jumbo up for sale - didn't get any reasonable offers. I'm glad I didn't sell it.
  8. Good answer - I have one sitting in my watch box. Polishing the rehaut makes a big difference - the reflections of the numbers are evidence of that. :-)
  9. Anyone do this in USA/CANADA? I need to add L before and after Swiss Made on a 114 Sent from my DROID BIONIC using Tapatalk 2
  10. Looks good! Before pics would be nice too - Not a complaint - just a thought.
  11. It has been a busy year for me and I've neglected my hobbies. Time to make some changes in my collection as well - mods, servicing and a few to sell. I logged-in and made a donation and am looking at membership options. Maybe I'm blind, an idiot or both but, I've searched the FAQs and I don't see an area that explains the differences between Platinum membership and VIP (aside from the cost differences and duration options). Nice to be back!
  12. Congratulations for making the decision to go - can't wait to hear about the journey!
