  3. Thanks Chiman. Last week, after my kids went to bed, I found the box of my Daytona parts (crown, dw case, some dial…, bezel). Trying to source parts now to complete the project. Was searching on google and brought me to this..

    6202 Bezel

hi there - i ended up giving up on this due to scarcity of parts After i bought a gen bezel. to answer your second question, no, Dj case is not compatiabe. based on my conversation with other people, my understanding (but i could be wrong) is that the only possible case for this project is Phong's.
  8. hi Nick do you have the link to that forum? thsnks
  9. super watch w/ original non-Mod refinished dial, correct radium hands..very good condition red triangle insert...prefer this dial configuration (more like 6200) than the burford redialed.
  10. jsofia: square guard case is thicker than the normal pcg case...indeed it has same thickness as 5510. the case thickness is one of the "tell" by collectors. pam007: the case set looks great! just need a good polish to bring it to rsc spec i think.
  11. I'm very interested..does anyone know how good is his engraving works?
  12. You can buy a gen daydate with that amount of money...
  13. The original milsub sword hands are not easy to come by...the so-called experts have no idea what he's talking about

  15. Even the Gen 6239 was never designed as a water resistant watch. But damn, those pump pushers make the watch look so sexy
  16. What a beautiful piece M. Wear it in good health!
  17. great..but im planning to get the bridge (i.e. the plate between the rotor & movemnt). will the 1570 rotor fit right on a 1560 bridge. thanks
  18. Thanks - as what i suspected it. Do you know if there are other parts that i would need to install it on a 1570 movement?
  19. That's beautiful... Are the end links gen? Thanks Flex
  20. hi everyone -- i am in the process of sourcing parts for an gilt project. it is mainly because i managed to source a gen PCG case-set. the watch would require a either 1530 or 1560 movement. i have a spare 1570 movement on hand. i know that without opening the caseback, the only person that will spot the difference is myself. however since we could get a used 1560 bridge at a fairly reasonable price. has anyone installed the 1560 auto device bridge on a 1570 to make it appear a 1560 at first glance? thanks Flex
  21. there is a crack at 12'o clock... i tend to stay away from broken insert...id rather a service insert what a rolex item is too good to be true, its always is
  22. Mine is Singer modified Porsche in all black http://m.autoblog.com/2013/10/07/porsche-911-reimagined-by-singer-review-first-drive/
  23. igoat is right... i hope you get refund since you purchased from ebay.
  24. Any chance to see the inside of caseback? I thought it might be best to describe as a 6536 or 6536/1 Franken?
