  1. Yes, usually C3, but C1 (or a C1+C3 mix) on watches that look white in lume.

But... did rcTritec resume on selling kits? I was unable to find their kits again on their website a while ago, so I supposed they were now selling SL only in larger quantities.

I had a mail from them on friday for a set. 45

  2. Hello,

I am about to order a Super-LumiNova set from RC TRITEC but I was wondering which color is usually used on watches lume? C1? C3? C7? or C9?

I was going for C1 as it is white when it is daylight and greenish in the dark. But now I have doubts! :D

    here is the color charts:

  3. That is weird because last week a documentary on the french tv talks about the saga of rolex. And they, of course, talked about replicas. And guess which site they picked up to order from:

I guess those guys might even have an account on RWG to get the right adress of trusted dealers !!!

Because they google replicas and click a link which is definetely not pam's website. Then they show pam's111 website

  4. The PureTime version is the same as Trusty's and everybody else's UPO. Silix's is the inferior version. As for the movement, who can tell these days, but I'm pretty sure the UPOs have been ETA's for the most part.

thanks for the infos. I thought also that there might be no need for that so callled swiss movement. If it costs you 250$ to service it you turn back to the same point that all the other reps > buy a new one and save 250$ servicing :D

  5. In fact I read there was only 2 factories making the UPO. The one with the "funny feet" logo and the one with the accurate dial (from silix) which has also its problems. Is it true? Does it mean that if I see a model with "funny feet" there is 95% of chances that it is the same model from one dealer to another?

  6. Trusty's UPO is by far the better watch, and it will accept gen parts. The Silix version has inferior He valve, crown, pearl, insert, bezel, datewheel, dial, lume, and movement. There is a reason why it is cheaper ;)

    I have both btw.

What about the one from puretime with the swiss movement. I know I start being annoying.
