  1. As stated above, the Safari and the Black themes are the best of the four from Toro's offer when compared against gen. Grey + Blue colours are off. I have read several times that the Noob Safari and the Black Themes are as nearly as good as the JF - for 200$ less it is a great deal. If you go for a leather strap, you probably have to replace it for a "better" aftermarket strap ($130-250).
  2. Perhaps the flash of the camera messed up the photo of the Safari? Nonetheless, the AP logo is too big on the Safari and its crooked
  3. I think that is the one that Trusty is carrying. I am having myself the difficult decision to go for one of them. I rather tend to the noob/cheaper one, but I have heard that it has a lot of movement difficulties and the exchange isnt easy after all. Furthermore over at the geeks they vote more for the h-fac ....i am so confused
  4. I am really impressed. This has a lot of potential
  5. I would say that this is one of the better one. But I am no expert
  6. I am on the waiting list since 20th of September. This waiting time makes me crazy!
  7. Hi guys, I was ordering two SOSFs V2 - one on bracelet and one on brown leather strap for a friend. The leather one smelled like wet basement when it arrived. Okay this might be the result of long transport... But thats not the main point - now one loop broke. I havent seen it, but my friend is making mimimimi about this.... His guess is that the loop is only glued together?! Is there any way to fix it? Hahah I want to keep him in the rep game, after he had two bad experiences
  8. Hi guys, I ordered a Planet Ocean Chrono (A7750, correct subdial spacing) for a friend of mine in October. The watch was running 24/7 for round about two weeks, but than died. Since my friend has no idea of watches - was his first automatic - I explained him everything into detail how to handle....Long story short I visited him two weeks ago and saw the watch was not running and I talked to him about it. I tried to get it back running - but failed. From what I can see externally - Rotor spinns without wired noises - no unnormal noises at all, Setting Date and Time works - but thats it. I remembered that the watch had some problems from the beginning on to start - took a long winding time. Do you have an idea what I can do? Thanks in advance! -gee
  9. It is not in production anymore (V2). There is a V3 around, but the V3 is more like the V1
  10. I gonna do that for sure. A nice brown or tobacco coloured strap is the plan
  11. Hi guys, after my first starting problem with manual movements, I finally falled in love with my new PAM005. The finish so unbelievable, the lume outstanding - gen feeling rising! I am pretty sure this wasnt my last PAM.
