  1. Going on in Poland (where I've never generally had a problem) but not only packages from China, had to shell out for a t-shirt sent via regular post from the US too. Seems like Triangle shipping or second hand deals is the only method left to us
  2. mann

Saw your post re LV belts. Would you

    Mind revealing the source? Thanks.

  3. I have shipped loads of packages out of the UAE via Emirates post & EMS and they have always been pretty speedy - within 9 working days is still a bit too much to expect for anywhere in the world unless its DHL / Fed-ex. Delivering mail to the UAE is another matter sadly as there is no mail delivery service there.
  4. I agree about the rep strap - It's not worth the upgrade! I have a gen one on mine but I got a good deal and got it before the rep arrived but I wouldn't do it again. Sql: Unfortunately the watch is in Dubai and im in Poland but when I'm back i'll take some pics - it is noticeable as its on the 12'o clock position but not enough to justify binning the watch. I have spoken to a few people in Dubai Gold souq about re-plating the watch with gen RG and the prices are very good so when I am back I will be trying this out and will post updates (just dont know when this will be yet)
  5. Congrats & Enjoy!! I love mine too - sadly I scratched it and it went down past the RG(first rep this ever happened too) but I still wear it every so often
  6. LOL, holy old thread revival batman! 2006 none the less The girl is long gone.. and so is the watch! I'll see if I can get some with the latest edition, but Sql.. you're the master when it comes to these things
  7. As my signature says... New Panerai? Please thats so 2006! I guess its one of those things, you jump on the wagon, go over board and then fall off - some expand into other things such as vintage models while most just move onto new brands. It's just the way it seems to work and has done for a while.. There are always the die hard fans in every camp be it the Rolex fans or the IWC fans. The current 'on-trend' darling does seem to be Hublot... black Hublot's it seems - again not to everyone's taste's and can't say I see the point having done the whole PVD PAM thing after the normal PAM's were everywhere and wanting something different.. its just the way the hobby works but I guess. IWC had this too with the top gun. I guess if Panerai does something for you, you don't need to worry about whats 'popular' just go for it, if it doesn't there's plenty of other brands to choose from - we're just lucky we can the most of our watch fetish's thanks to the amazing reps available to us sampling from every tray as it were without the damage to our pockets.
  8. Some great advise here but you haven't told us your budget, MTM or Bespoke can add up quite a bit depending on the cloth and tailor.. certain OTR options are perfectly viable as well - I imagine if you have just finished university you probably aren't looking to splash out that much ? I won't repeat whats already been said because its all great advise however 2 button is very modern what I would and do go for - but don't forget there's also a 3 roll 2 option - which is very much what all the Bespoke / MTM fans generally go for. If you do insist on going MTM, make sure you choose the tailor correctly whose work and style you are happy with and they are willing to make the changes you want - some are quiet stubborn. Just because its MTM doesn't mean it will fit perfectly - I don't necessarily see the point in going for MTM just because you are slightly over weight if you have a good tailor any OTR can be made to look just as good, especially if you aren't sure what style you are happy with and still finding your style I would personally leave that till I was sure what I wanted that way I would be a lot happier with the end result. There is nothing worse then walking into a tailor and not knowing what you want and expecting a good suit as a result - been there and got the bad suits to prove it.
  9. Well it had to be said you were very patient and quite informative / helpful on this thread so just giving props where its due. LOL forget Dubai it seems I am stuck in Central Europe for the next few weeks possibly months working on certain projects - I miss the sunshine
  10. Very impressed with your responses and helpful attitude plaifender Shame there's no like button on here
  11. The buckles look absolutely amazing mate! Wish I was still wearing panerai but I think after these buckles and the dial I might have to start again
  12. exper

    MBT shoes

I *really* don't think that would fit under men's style... it's like asking for UGG boots for men.. you want sexy calves to go with your watch ? haha sorry I couldn't resist.. no clue but if you are serious and not just joking around.. ebay is always a winner and a quick search does show some there
  13. Looks great and one of my fav AP's.. but cmon.. only one pic ?
