  1. The "L" and "E" look misaligned....?
  2. The first sticky on this page is a good source of info...
  3. I like this watch a lot as well. However, the minute hand is too short see original: http://www.omegawatches.com/collection/seamaster/aqua-terra-150-m/master-co-axial-415-mm/23110422101004
  4. I am missing the point? Seems silly since movement is not close to gen....?
  5. The hour hand is off. The genuine seems to use the "old" Sub hour hand but a fatter minute hand. The rep is actually better proportioned ironically. However, seems very noticeable to me.....I used to not even notice these details.
  6. Timeshops has two 1680's they "look" to be pretty good. This one even has lighter indices. Does anyone know anything about these. I don't ee them on any other site. Was looking at an MBW red but the color of the text is somewhat dull compared to this one. Thoughts from any 1680 experts? One with white markers is below: http://www.timeshops.net/product.php?id_product=5385
  7. After being a Rolex and vintage Rolex and Panerai rep geek for the past few years I was running out of watches I "had" to have and thought it might be time for a Breitling. They are beautiful but always seemed a bit overly fussy and blingy but found one from a member on the rep sales link and purchased what I understand to be the BCE Graphite dial V2 with updated datewheel. The watch and bracelet are quite impressive and appears to be a very accurate rep. My one concern is the bezel. The bezel is ever so slightly rotated 1/2 minute marker in the counterclockwise direction and the 12:00 marker with pearl does not quite line up with the dial. Sort of 11:59:30 if that makes any sense. There are small screws located all around the side of the bezel assembly. Are these "set" screws that when loosened will allow me to rotate the bezel or is there another solution or NO solution? Thought I would ask before I screw anything up. Thanks in advance from this noob.....
  8. I just received my first MBW from Reg since Eurotimez is no longer in business. I fortunately had good luck with Chris having received a 1680 White, DRSD and GWSD. Of course I "needed" the no date 5513. So here it is. Warning----was held up in US Customs for 3 days at LAX and for the first time in my rep experience opened up the entire package and affixed the green US Customs and Border Protection tape around each previously sealed envelope from Reg. He packed the watch in a felt pouch, inside an MBK shopping bag, inside an envelope which was inside a EMS plastic shipper. Even created a fictional person with my last name as sender. Has anyone else encountered this? I got lucky, Customs must have thought it was genuine. It DOES look the part. But WHEW! dodged a bullet there. Note: I posted this on RG as well. Thought others should be aware that customs will occasionally open our hidden treasures.....
  9. Correct---I mispoke. It is the hour hand that jumps (shows you that I don't set it much). I have one of my GMT's with the GMT hand set in my (Pacific) time zone and the other on eastern US time. So far so good.
  10. I LOVE my GMT 2 masters from Kingwatch-----yes I know it's a dangerous movement option but it looks great with the correct hand stack. I set mine once when I got them and NEVER change the GMT hand again. ROLEX-ROLEX-444-GMT ETA 2836-2 MOVEMENT WITH SAPPHIRE ADJUST HOUR....
  11. Hmmm. Mine were all VERY close but always had an exposed edge somewhere on the bezel after "snapping in". I have 4 MBW's and all required minor filing with a nail file to fit.
  12. I have just placed my order with Narikaa for the 5513. In response to my inquiry as to any additional charges required for a gen ETA based on my understanding that they now all have Asian ETA copies Reg replied as follows: "No He now ONLY has ETAs in the retro subs (hiked his prices during my last trip due to this)" That is encouraging and if true justifies the added cost. In any event, I have tried many of the other vintage reps and I can say that NONE matches the build quality of the MBK/MBW. I now have DRSD, SRSD, GWSD, 1680 White and soon the 5513....too bad no vintage GMT with small triangle hand.....yet.
  13. I have ordered them from Wholesale Outlet 990 on ebay. Require a bit of slight filing to fit snugly on the MBW bezels however. http://cgi.ebay.com/BEZEL-INSERT-VINTAGE-ROLEX-SUBMARINER-5513-1680-/400110830936?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0
