  1. No, on the Bentley models the bezel just smotthly turns. Wear it well.
  2. No, the case and dial will fit differently
  3. Nice collection, the Speedy is !
  4. Very nice pics, this is one of my favourite Pams.
  5. I saw a grey gen the other dial. It is nice, but for me, the shade was slightly too light. If it was a darker grey I may gone for that instead. However, I went for the black dial, and in some lights that looks more of a very dark grey.
  6. It is possible, but not practicable. I had a highly modified Hublot (Swiss 7750 modded to be a tricompax layout) To then get the seconds running at three would take some doing, not even sure if it would be possible. It it were possible, it would be very very expensive, it would be worth buying the real thing.
  7. Looks like I joined this one quite late. I have done a very brief comparison of a photo you have provided Chris and my gen SMP. If there is anything I can do to help in the progress of a new rep please let me know, I would love to see a good replica of this; My apologies for not finishing the annotation. REP; 1) He valve too low 2) Crown Guards wrong shape 3) The part between the white date border and the inner part of the date window is too thick 4) The Lugs are a slightly different shape (slightly excentuated by the angle of the picture) GEN REP Having done the comparison I have realised how good the replica actually is, once on the wrist, no one would be able to differentiate the two!
  8. The real ones will have a stamp of the place of origin (ie the AD) the fakes won't
  9. I like that a lot! Gives it more of a diver's look.
  10. Excuse my typo above, for those of you that have never been 'ding' before, it is very popular in the UK. You may also know it as diving
  11. To a certain extent you are correct. However the AR is there for a purpose, it reduces reflectiion quite considerably, and makes the dial much more easy to read. Especially on watches that you use for ding/aviation, with a good AR coating it makes them mcuh more readable at a quick glance. It's like having a saftey catch on a gun, you use the gun for shooting, but the safety catch still serves a purpose.
  12. The Skyland doesn't really require any mods to make it more accurate. A re-lume is the only thing I can think of.
  13. Flaws aside, I would go for the VC, it is a stunning watch!
  14. Nice pictures Dave, it's such a good replica, it looks like you have two gens!

    Finally!

Cpngratulations By-tor, thoroughly deserved, now sell me your rep
  16. That is a beautiful Portuguese, good work!!
  17. Great picture! Looks nice on the leather too.
  18. Looks like a genuine Chronomat to me. Ref - 13048. They were made in 1993 for a year. I would want better pictures before handing over the money though.
  19. Im sporting a Breitling this weekend too;
  20. Rubber is definitely the way to go for the Skyland, I prefer the Evo on leather though. Nice pics
  21. Great phoro's Lani, the AR makes all the difference to this beautiful watch!
  22. Personally I dont think they are. I am no Pam expert, but there is serious build quality issues with some of them. If you buy a base Pam and have it modded you would get the best possible Pam for your money.
  23. Thanks MP, I never noticed it was smaller on the gen too! Blast, I cant edit my mis-information above!!
  24. I have voted to come along to this one, pending dates. I would be travelling from the UK. This will be the metting of all meetings!!
