Friends - I have all the parts for a Franken APROO build. Need a LWO 283 movement. Other than finding a tag or another donor watch, is there any source to find this movement. Help!!!

the movement is NOT a replica. It is an actual SF240 taken from a old clock just as Panerai did. It has been modded to fit the case, dial, hands. Cost is $$$$ :-) Typical angelus movements in good condition cost north of $3000.

GUYS...JUST A FRIENDLY WARNING....THE CHILEAN ANTIQUES MOVEMENTS ON EBAY ARE VERY SHINY AND TEMPTING....BUT PLEASE NOTE THAT UNLESS YOU ARE DAMN LUCKY THE MODIFIED MOVEMENTS ARE A MESS BEHIND THE SHINY CLEAN BACK PLATES. I HAVE GONE THROUGH MULTIPLE MOVEMENTS (THIS IS WHY I WILL NOT ATTEMPT TO QUOTE THE TOTAL COST FOR THIS PROJECT). ZIG AND OTHER EXPERTS WILL TELL YOU THE SAME...BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THESE MOVEMENTS...MODDED ONES ARE GENERALLY A TOTAL MESS INSIDE.....BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DECIDE TO GET INTO BUYING THESE MOVEMENTS...BEST IS TO FIND A PRISTINE UN-MODDED AND THEN USE A TRUSTED MODDER TO MOD THEM.

GEN PAM parts from (Dial, hands, CG, Bezel) - ITALY GEN Crystal - USA Angelus - ARGENTINA, Hong Kong Base watch - CHINA Assembled (Made in) - CANADA - this is the MOST important part and my SALUTE to MASTER Zig....Unbelievable work on the movement. COST - $$$$$$$$$$ (5 figure).....but significantly less than......

Yes CG is gen, All parts are gen except case and crystal. Gen crystal is on its way to me and will get installed in few weeks.

Well this is an interesting one. Per panerai sources this was a choice offered to the buyers and some chose it this way. Many pics and reviews on web confirm this.

Does anyone know if this model has been discontinued....I checked with one trusted dealer and he is indicating that this model is not available any more. If dealers are not selling...hope someone on this form will sell me one...:-)

Yes APBands is a good option. I will buy one from them, but I am still very interested in buying a gen Deployant...I have already invested $$$$$ in the Franken....want to go all out spend $$$ for the gen Deployant (my final big spent in this hobby). Anyone with connections with AD please PM me. Will greatly appreciate help.

Guys, I finally got an amazing super Franken APROO coming to me next week. I need to make this perfect and want to buy a Gen strap and Gen Deployant. Does anyone of I have any good connections with an AD? Please PM. I will post pics of my watch next week.
