  1. Thanks. And thanks for the price reference. Looking for some less expensive interesting pieces to start collecting. It looked a little clean and fresh to be that old to my novice eye.
  2. Real or Memorex (rep?) http://cgi.ebay.com/GENUINE-VINTAGE-ROLEX-...93%3A3|294%3A50
  3. Isn't the special Radiomir a clear caseback and DSN is solid? Thanks for pictures I am interested and thinking about pulling the trigger. Torn between 183 and 292 and 249 and 309 Food for thought
  4. Great post. My old DSN 229 is looking less and less perfect.... Does anyone else notice that the second hands on both the Ultimate and DSN are slightly off from the gen? It varies from picture to picture but both reps' second hand seeming slightly thicker? and longer? Thanks again for the side by side by side...
  5. Anyone rep the 309,21 or (not as big 292)? Thoughts on acquiring one of these? Thanks

Alternatively does anyone know a jeweller/watchmaker in the Philly area that may be inclined to do such a job ( or others) Thanks BN
  7. To those of us who don't know- can these movements- alarm or non-alarm be used for a vintage project?
  8. Ok I know this is non-watch but it is Panerai related. Does anyone know where I can source a Officine Panerai Baseball hat? I saw this one on ebay- http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...n%3D4%26ps%3D10 Thoughts Thanks S
  9. Words cannot describe... Beautiful. Simply beautiful Thanks for the pictures
  10. Brother can you spare 109K I love that watch. Thanks for telling me. Now I gotta go play the lottery. S
  11. I think this link ums up alot of the early watches in a clear, concise fashion: http://www.paneristi.com/reference/vintage.html From it: "Today
