  1. Hey all I was just wondering if anyone knew of anywhere that sold correct hands for a 39mm Explorer 1? Or even if anyone knew the correct lengths?? (Are they really just 1016 hands??) There seems to be lots of places for Sub handsets but I've not really had any luck with a replacement handset for my Exp1! I have contacted some Dealers but as it's Chinese New Year, I don't want to bug them until they are back at work lol Any advice or recommendations are gratefully received! X
  2. Boots Basic moisturised, £1.50 for a tub that lasts for ages. Not too greasy, absorbs quite well, is not marketed as being a 'wonder cream' to make you younger, fitter, and have sex with more ladies And twice a day supplements of high strength Fish Oil and Evening Primrose Oil, an A-Z multivitamin, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, Zinc and Vitamin B12
  3. As above, avoid ADs and stick to small 'family' shops
  4. Just make sure you have something soft between the watch and the surface! If you need to unwind it, you can remove the caseback, take a small screwdriver, twist the crown to 'wind' it slightly and slightly disengage the click spring on the ratchet wheel (I think that's what it's called?), then push the click spring out of the way using the screwdriver so the wheel can move in either direction freely. BUT... As you push the clickspring, make sure to grip the crown firmly and only let it unwind slowly between your fingers. DO NOT let it unwind freely, that way lies broken movements!
  5. haha! I think I will have to get one of these, although they are not cheap... Blue or white, though? White looks awesome but blue is more discreet and more wearable for work... I will just have to buy both, I think
  6. Check out Wiz's watchworks on RWG1.1 / RWI
  7. Great pics, thank you I want a 415, I just think they are a little expensive!
  8. It's currently under attack so it will take a little time to get back up and running, but options are being explored and it will be up as soon as possible. EDIT: Too slow!
  9. There are some ridiculous price rises in there. Check out the DSSD. Did it really need to go up 33% in 5 years? I don't think so...
  10. You should send that picture to the Trusted Dealers and ask if they can get it, if you haven't already done so
  11. I still love my prototype version, it's one of my favourites! I dinged the bezel slightly the other day, but strangely I actually like it more now, it feels more 'mine'
  12. Luthier has previously said that he has flown into the US direct from China with 8-10 reps in his bag and never had a problem.
  13. Still can't decide if I can afford this... Flights are only c.£50 but add in the travel at the other end getting to and from a good friend's house that kindly offered to put me up (£40-60), the food (£50?), the drink (£50+?), odds and ends while over away... I just don't think I can afford it!
  14. Excellent, a UK rep-friendly watchsmith would be very handy!
  15. What is wrong with the blue and brown rep SOH dials? The v2 was one of best replicas out there, as I understand it, so I am slightly confused.
  16. I have attempted contact via what might be the best method so will update if I hear anything!
  17. I have sent a text to the number I have for him a couple of days ago but no response yet I may see if I can find his Parent's number... although I can't remember Sixx's real name  Please can someone PM me his real name if they know it? Thank you in advance!!
  18. You mean it might be missing the adjustment screw in the swan neck assembly?
  19. I've just seen this... for $118 it seems a good price for a good-looker!

Would be cool if we could get the SD made but it may be bittersweet for those that lost money on the original WM9 order.
  21. Just thought I'd bump this thread in case anyone had been in touch with him? Hope he's ok
  22. +1 to the other dealers - ask Mary as she's great for a first time buyer (which I think you are??) She's a bit busy so sometimes can be a little bit slow responding to emails, but she is quality! As above, you also have the 005 and 318 to consider, and there is a new 026K out soon too, and apparently a 360... There's always more watches you want than you have money for, you have to get used to it! lol
  23. You like men in colour coordinated smart casual attire? lol
