sorry guys for responding so late, I am on a business trip and will return home on Friday only, All I can say at the moment is, that I would need a SS buckle, but could also live with a clasp or even gold buckle or clasp, as my GP 7000 is two tone. The size should be 18mm as far as I recall. I will verify that on friday, when I return back home. Thanks for helping so far !

When you google GP reps, you get dozens of its from unknown dealers, but up to now I was unable to trace such reps with one of the trusted dealers. Would anyone know a reliable source ? I am offended by this sort of witch-hunt, which is presently going on here. I always have experienced concepta as a fair partner who always kept what he said. I have a franken 3717 from him (and never applied for papers..). At the time of inquiring I had counter checked his prices with the bloke from Portugal who is mostely active on Repgeek.... This guy was considerably more expensive and he noted, that concepta can in no way make any profit on this. He will have had some profit for sure, but it surely wasn´t a lot and this is totally ok ! If something is really disgusting here, it is to compare him with K222 without any evidence. It appears, that we have members here with outstanding moral standards who teach us where the border line between clean collection of reps and unacceptable coduct is (never buy a box !). Finally I got the advise I was waiting for all my live. Mates, you are walking on thin ice. One could well argue, that already the buying, selling and collecting of reps as such is fraud, support of child labor and what else so ever. Just consult your local customs officer or ask IWC what they think about your hobby as such. So please accept eveyones freedom of mind here, accept the different attitudes of different people and refrain from missionary missions.

Have been locked out every time after I chagend a price in a sales thread. Therafter I wanted to add a new reply also reporting the price drop and evrytime then I got dropped out. But more strange is, that I am unable to edit a sales thread without scrammbling the whole thread. The edit window does not show anymore the live text, but the script language. I helped myself now by copying my sales text prior to the edditing, then deleting the scrammbled text and insert the copied "old" text, which then can be eddited (although colors and letter sizes still got lost, although displayed).

Admin please help: I am either refused to edit my sales thread (gen. Omega Seamaster) quote "You do not have permission for this action" unquote or, when the system recognizes me, I got a scrambled text in the preview, so that I better aborded the action. I just wanted to drop the price. I pressume, that this is due to your preliminary measures to get the system running again ?

I have ordered me the same set just last weekend ! Only exception: No german datewheel, although I am german... I think IWC does not offer any watches with german day wheels any more, so I just want to be as gen. as possible... And mine will be equipped with a rep. SS strap which has gen end links on. Beside the rep strap - why call it franken ? It´s gen ! Ok...the numbers on the mov. and the case will be different - who cares !

There is alittle bit of modding with a noticable effect, that anyone can do: The printing "fast" and "slow" on the bridge is on most reps to bold. Just polish it gently with some Cape Cod and it looks perfect and very much gen like ! Enjoy your watch !

I do understand very well your notion. Many of us here had such a or a similar problems. However, from the about 40 watches I purchsed from dealers or members all over the world I had about 5 with major problems, further about 10 with minor issues and the rest was just fine. There is no real working guarantee with the dealers, even the most rliable ones will never give you back money or make a buck minus on a deal with you. It is not like in the real world here. You must know that, accpet it or refrain. Simply as that.

Hi, I got a Top Gun presently "under construction" with Niklas.V1 case with V2 dial, Gen movement, relume und new AR . The mov. will be installed by Domi, AR will come from Uwe and I believe that Niklas is doing the lume himself. Domi is not too keen on doing lume himself. He does lume on markers and hands, but not always numbers and the like. I had him doing the lume on my 3717 (markers and hands), the result is very good. It is true, that Niklas has some personal problems at the moment (not himself).You might want to give him a week or so. cheers !
