Great thread And difficult decisions
I would say my favourite rep would be my 212 swiss 7750:
My PAM 195 will be great after some dial 'adjustments' It hasn't left my wrist since I got it
The 196 could be my favourite after major modifications are all finished and it's back together:
That being said... I also love my 192 Tantalium and the IWC GST chrono in Titanium is starting to get some wrist time
Very nice!!! I want one.
As for straps, I think the stingray goes pretty well, not sure if I like the grey
If you don't want the tan with pvd combo (I like it very much, great contrast), you may want to try an oxblood from Europelli, I think that would go beautifully!!
Wear it well
I bought the Link Calibre 36... great Zenith El Primero movement, although between the busy dial, lack of lume, and my own Tag stigma, I decided to let it go... Bought my PAM 091 instead. Here's a few shots:
I was just at the LV boutique this weekend trying on their rangs... Nice watches, but just a bit blingy and fashiony for me. They sit very high on the wrist and stick out like dogs nads..
OTOH, since they have purchased Zenith, they have some of the finest movements in the world inside!!
Hmmm... I thought it was the other way around... All the T dials I see have a yellowish/brown/beige patina and glow no more.
I am wondering because of the 195 (L dial) I have just received from Davidsen. The lume is not bright and I am wondering if a gen 195 would still be glowing like a torch... If so, I will have it relumed.
Great story Admin!
Just goes to show you that they are marked up many many times and also shows us that we really have a great place here to purchase within the comfort of our own homes!!!
Thanks for that!
So, if we get a watch with super luminova hands/indeces, it should glow similar when new as it will 10 years and more?
If so, I guess I'll be shipping out my 195 dial soon :-(
Thanks all for your support and info...
I will seek some medical advice before going to a chiro
My pain is trying to convince me to take the shortest route, which in this case may not be the best... One step at a time and the good part out of this is that I get a bit of R&R
