PAM 196 on a new Ferretti strap... Just lovely:
-
I think that the PAM 028 is the only one

I have the same experience with suede sharkskin... ahnd wonder if this actually is sharkskin. It has turned into a standard looking strap, thebumpiness of it as new is all but gone.
I had a Strapmasters blue sharkskin a while back that was definitely a different grain, small round nodules in an uneven pattern. Very nice and definitely waterproof. I think these, the MPs, and the Dirk shark skin straps are the best ones to get, although I'm not sure if I'd wear them diving. I would only wear steel or rubber for diving.
I wonder if they make frog's ass straps

Well, IMO, I think by mistake that you may have hit the cannon retrieval lever.
You have to make sure this is in the right orientation when assembled. Open the case back, remove the top bridgework, then give the little [censored]er a nudge with your tweezers. All back together (in reverse order of course) and everything should be right again.
Enjoy your watch!!

I would buy this in a heartbeat if there was no reference to Ferrari... I like Ferraris (but like Lambos better), would love to own one... but probably never will... So my watch can't imply that I might

WOW... great find and better price!!

Big Bangesque, but kinda unique and cool:

I buy my gens out of guilt LOL
Seriously now... I bought my gen PAM 89 because I have tried the rep and liked it so much... Then again, I bought my gen Sinn U1 because there is no rep of it.
I still love (some of) the reps I have, albeit the flaws bug me. If I could afford, I would buy only gens..
Rep collecting is more fun than collecting gens IMO, trying to get the perfect one has a lot of appeal to me. Also, this community is great to be a part of, even though you're all a bunch of trademark infingers LOL

Course, now that i'm poking around online looking at Omegas and PAMs, I started thinking...maybe I should get something that isn't repped yet? Like a Ulysse Nardin? This may take longer than I thought to pick something out.
I was thinking the same thing... The Marine Diver posted here last week (can not remember who, sorry) was just stunning!
The UN 42mm GMT Big date is also a gorgeous piece and it can be had for a substantial discount online.
JLC Master compressor series are also very nice!
LOL, good luck with your decision!

Well it don't look genuine to me... New Old Stock???!! LOL

The stage party?
Why it's here in Aus who's coming
I'm there!

But as I said, everything can be taken to an absurd extreme. You've provided some valid examples.
So... in other words... are there really no high quality Rado replicas?

Congrats Ken!...
Weddings are wonderful! I have a small collection of them myself LOL I had to give up the hobby though, it's too expensive.
May you have many more decades of happiness!

That strap looks awesom K!!^^
Let me know when you want to sell your destro.

This Polluce is calling out to me, although I'm pretty turned off by the logos on the dial. Having a bronze case is just that much different (and heavy, yeah!) to put it on my next to get list.
I really want the chrono too, but I'll wait a bit longer.
My goal, in the end, is to have a nice collection of avante-garde/strange/so ugly they're beautiful watches (Graham's pushing it though lol). WSith my PAM 89, and U1, I feel like I'm on my way

He will never ever get his $1m... Well, maybe in 1m years lol
Nice try tho, gotta give him balls for trying, but methinks he'll be walking away from this with his tail between his legs
-
Anonimo doesn't typically do much for me, but a few models from them really float my boat...
What a hunk of metal the Professional Chrono is:
I really like the 'Professional' series:
And the 'Polluce' series is quite cool too... This one is made from naval bronze... would be approaching the weight of lead :
And this is SS/gold:

So thaaaat's what patina is LOL... They could have at least rinsed it off.

The 091 is awesome! My first genuine Panerai as well. I was under the impression that the 'anthracite' in the reps is not anthracite, but an anodized or somehow coated metal
-
Yes, very nice! I'd really like to know where you got that extra thick logo buckle... I need some of those...
Elliot just started selling keyrings with Mario Paci material/buckles... $199

LOL you must have tried on a rep than.....

I agree as well, you'll be safe with both JLC and Zenith. You can pick up a really nice zenith open chrono for around 5k, ar a JLC master compressor.
Another brand you might be interested in is Kobold... I have a Spirit of America coming soon, but some of the PVD chronos they have are simply amazing looking, and built like a tank.

Another brand I don't see mentioned anywhere much is Damasko, cool tool watches along the same line as Sinn.
