  1. Nice... Looks like real anthracite from here... That's it... I'm selling mine!

Too bad the case isn't titanium like the original, and it's REALLY too bad they couldn't fix the most glaring dial flaw that's plagued these GMTs... The missing 9:00 marker LOL.

The GMT hand pointer is also still too big.

Why can't these guys just get it right for f*ck's sake? It's downright embarassing IMO.

  2. For *me*, the case diameter is way too small...

It is a nice looking watch, but really not anything I'd be wearing to any event, black tie or not... I'd rather be sporting a nice Portuguese if I were to 'dress up'

Also, I'm not too impressed with Chopard as a man's watch, I find the brand itself to cater more towards the ladies with their happy beaches, fishes, blingy this and that etc. Then again, I feel the same way about Cartier.

  3. Boy... you guys are tough... :slap:

I initially voted for the Seahawk... that got shot down because the rules changed. Then I voted for the Ebel... that seems to have disappeared as well.

Now we're left with an IWC, a Paul Picot (nice watch, but where did that come from??!!), and a TAG (??!!) :yuk:

There are a bunch of IWCs around, and probably in the making, a TAG (??!!), I'll go get one of them at a 5&Dime mall jewellery shop with my credit card almost maxed out, thank you! :wallbash:

The Paul Picot is nice, and different, and good enough to vote for... maybe even good enough to buy, but it surely came out of the blue for me and couldn't see where to vote for it. :dots:

All in all, I voted yay or nay for a bunch of watches, but they have all seemed to go missing in action.

    Newsflash:

YOU CANNOT HAVE IT BOTH WAYS.

    Again,

Ultimately, the dealer's objective is not a morally sound one. As replica purchasers and enthusiasts, you have to respect the "business end" of replicas. You can't just accept buying and selling among people who would object to selling fakes as real (and for profit).

    It's all or nothing.

You possibly bought from someone that you are now reporting?

    C'mon. ^_^

    That's [censored]

We actually CAN, and DO, have it both ways... We don't in any way condone selling fakes as genuines (although there may be a few that do this here)

Maybe you don't know that many of us have both genuines and replicas.

I for one would be horrified to purchase a watch from a high positive feedback seller on eBay only to find it to be a rep.

This eBay listing is a big wake up call for everyone here and one of the main reasons we are here.

I, for one, applaud this thread for calling this guy out. I've reported it to eBay and only hope that they are able to act in time.
